Nup. Just Boyd, Swan, Beams and Ablett. Only 21 players (and one was Brock McLean!) averaged 100+ last year, so I think that is a better keeper mark at this stage.Did even 8 players avg more than that in 2012?

How so?i think the game has changed where mids will rack up even more points this yr, GAJ, Swan, Pendles, Boyd, Selwood, Watson, Cotchin,Kennedy & Jack (from swans), Sam Mitchell , Marc Murphy & Dayne Beams could all average 115 if they stay injury free
105 average will be very solid from M7 and M8
How so?
With the afl trying to make the game quicker to slow players down, the gap between the top 5% and the rest will grow, as the rest get more tired the elite will continue to excel, point distribution will reflect this IMHO
Sorry mate, but load of tripe.

Is JPK a bully like that though, i think he benefits from a lot of tight ball, a lot of tackles, a lot of quick kicks, would he necessarily flourish against the lower sides??I'm starting to look at P.O.D. players in the opening few weeks of the season given the new trade rules.
Josh P. Kennedy vs GWS rd 1 and GC rd 2
Nick Riewoldt vs GC rd 1 and GWS rd 3
No he's not I wouldn't think. I'd look at someone like Rockliff. Best five 2012 scores came against the Bulldogs, GWS, Geelong, Melbourne and Gold Coast. Dogs, GC and the Dees in first 5 roundsIs JPK a bully like that though, i think he benefits from a lot of tight ball, a lot of tackles, a lot of quick kicks, would he necessarily flourish against the lower sides??
None for me, but Bock might be the pick of the bunch. Yarran is also worth a thoughtAtley vs Yarran vs Bock
Atley vs Yarran vs Bock
Matt Wright v Matt De Boer?
Honestly think youd be underrating their output... anyway...3rd option?
I have doubts that Bock will be ready for rd 1. If he is he'll probably start out quite slow. I have Atley and Howard on my watch list from the mid priced backs. The Nth board and a few other DT sites have been talking up Atley, with alot of the best 22 teams having him off half back, and some even on the the wing. If he shows any sign of breaking out in the pre season games i'm sure we'll hear about it.
Wright for me, an integral part of Crows mid rotations vs DeBoer who could still play that defensive forward post too often and can be a bit inconsistent. Martin if you don't have him is a viable alternative.Matt Wright v Matt De Boer?
I loled
