Considering we just cleaned out the Rookie list I doubt very much we'd be looking to elevate any of them other than Blicavs.

Sherringham would be the only obvious candidate as it'll be his last year but, from where I sit, he doesn't really fit into the rebuild/remodel or offer anything that isn't already there on the list (that is also why I still shake my head a bit that he was retained and Eardley wasn't since we have a few "Sherringham" types [mids] but not many "Eardley" types [small defenders]) .

Sherringham would have to play out of his skin to get a look in as I don't see him as a better option than guys like Schroder, Cowan or Stringer (who appear the ones most likely to be in the firing line).

I'd be stunned if any of Toohey, Bourke, Bates or Luxford got elevated after 1 season.

Could happen but I'd be very, very surprised considering the way Geelong utilises the rookie list (i.e. usually giving a rookie a couple of years before making a call).

I was gonna bold the important bit… but I reckon everyone already knows what I was gonna say…...

Movin' on!

As for the rest of it, Sherringham needs to shine like a diamond in some pretty good rough to get a senior spot going forward with some healthy competition around him. Think his age, not unlike Bathie's age, will undo him especially when Schredder for example is 21 today…. ( HB btw Schredder) and has got the skills I feel but just needs to get another bigger preseason into him.

Go Catters

2014 draft prospect Jay Lever, considered a possible top 10 pick is having a reco and will miss all of next year TAC and nationals. He is a rebounding tall defender, much in the mould of Harry. If we do well next year and have a later first round pick, this could be another injury special that becomes a great player.

I know this will come across as very nit-picky but you mean Jake Lever - http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-12-10/lever-pulled-on-jakes-year

Jay Lever used to be on the Saints list and is currently training with the Geelong VFL side - http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au...cess-of-the-past/story-fnjuhrhu-1226779841124

Delisted St Kilda ruckman Jay Lever is training with the squad, along with Geelong Falcon Fraser Fort, who was overlooked in both drafts last month.

Just watched the video on AFL.com. Had to turn it off after 2.00 minutes. He is not a top ten pick in a deep draft for mine. His kicking .... just not my cup of tea.
