Forward rookies aren't great but not much you can do now. It's a good team. I would back your judgements and go with what you got.
Yeah forward rookies are by no means a lock and will definitely change. I'm reasonably happy with the rest of the team though

I've gone with Cox & Byrnes over Siposs and Wright

I hope people can read that, first time trying to post a screenshot

I've chopped and changed my team so much, what are peoples thoughts on this team??

Am I silly choosing both Varcoe and Byrnes?? I initially had neither of them but I wanted a stronger midfield.
I honestly think Wines will average within 5 points of Moloney. Use that cash to upgrade one of Varcoe or Byrnes to a player capable of averaging 90+

Actually quite like this version of my team - I know the FWD line is comparatively weak, but I think it's just that kind of year, and throwing bigger bucks at unworthy picks won't make your team better. Some rookies obviously open to change before Rd. 1.

My 8 person draft is almost done... pick selected in brackets (#)

My team is:

Stanley (79), Waters (34), Suckling (31)
Ablett (2), A. Swallow (47), Murphy (15), ROK (63)
Goldstein (50)
Rockliff (18), Wright (66), Sylvia (82)

Bench: Gaff (98), LeCras (95), J. Watts (111), <yet to be picked>

Kind of got lucky with some of these... was the last to take their Ruckman... somehow getting Goldy :) and also Stanley went pretty damn late pick of on the field players, with Andrew Swallow somehow being left unpicked for me at 47, which I find hilarious.

OK, feel free to rip into my team however you want. I need the advice. :D
Paparone won't be in my Round 1 team, I'm not particularly sold on the following either: Terlich, Hartlett, Embley, Wines, Viney, Rowe, Daniher.

1. You're going to need Gibbs
2. Out Rowe in the forward line and replace him with Witts. Would also say Currie is ahead of Daw.
3. Go with someone other than Pav and Zorko as your premiums.

Would you believe I've already done Steps 1 and 3 :D

What are people's thoughts on Nick Lower? Surely he'd get a decent run at the dogs being a mature, experienced player in a young midfield. Only reason I ask is that he is priced roughly the same as Ball, had an average of 97 in 3 games last year, and Ball is coming back from injury.

You're going to get a LOT of differing opinions here, only because our midfield is so hard to crack. You'd think, "Oh yeah the 'Dogs aren't very good, a mature solid body would help them a lot." But the problem comes to you when you try to write a best 22 for us - in the midfield, you'd play all of Boyd, Griffen, Cooney (injury permitting), Wallis, Libba, Picken, Cross, Dahlhaus and Higgins ahead of him, and then you have players like Hrovat, Stringer, Macrae, Hunter, Prudden, Smith, Stevens, Howard, Tutt, Wood etc pushing for selection there as well.

I hate the idea of playing Lower at half back since I think he's been mismanaged at both Port and Freo by being played there. Just depends how we see him, and how much of a risk you're willing to take.

I'd stay well away from him, but there will be people who completely disagree.
