Draft Review 2013 - Redo the 2013 AFL draft

Pretty weird list. Not sure many clubs would take Amon over Salem, given the latter's ability by foot. You have also used AA noms and BnFs to separate them, when Salem has one squad place to Amon's nought and both have one top 5 BnF finish. Meanwhile, DBJ won Port's BnF 3 years ago and he sits 10 spots below them. Brown had a great first 5 years at North but has been serviceable at best for the past four seasons. Pearce has been close to an elite defender for a few seasons. One bad year and he's a clubman.
DBJ has been moved from his previously effective position because he wasn’t good enough anymore. His 2020 season was an outlier. 5 great seasons is enough to put Brown in 7th. Name one player below him that has played 5 great seasons. Pearce was a good defender in his prime but turtle slow with little rebounding ability. He’s been a serviceable player for the majority of his career.

Undisputed #1/best player in the game:
1. Marcus Bontempelli
Consistently elite in their roles for years:
2. Zach Merrett
3. Patrick Cripps
4. James Sicily
AA quality players:
5. Charlie Cameron
6. Josh Kelly
Important club players with ability to be elite at times:
7. Ben Brown
8. Aliir Aliir
9. Tom Barrass
10. Toby Nankervis
11. Dom Sheed
12. Karl Amon
Serviceable club men:
13. Christian Salem
14. Alex Pearce
15. George Hewett
16. Rory Lobb
17. Darcy Byrne-Jones
18. Dan McStay
19. James Aish
20. Jarman Impey

In hindsight, I think this draft is a far cry from the super draft it looked a few years back. The 2014 and 15 drafts were better.
1. Marcus Bontempelli
2. Patrick Cripps
3. Zach Merrett
4. James Sicily
5. Charlie Cameron
6. Josh Kelly

That's a very good top six.
