Big weekend of sport for me, going to Broncos v Manly on Friday night with a few mates, then Roar v Victory on Saturday Night followed by Everton v Wigan FA cup quarter-final. After a disappointing season from the Roar (albeit we might be finding our feet again), I've been looking forward to the AFL/NRL season for a while.

However it's disgraceful that we're the only state that doesn't get Roosters v Rabbitohs live on Thursday night, why can't we just have Daylight Savings live every non-backwards state?

Yeah it was a game of two halves. Also the towel waving thing at the game was cringeworthy (but I do appreciate getting the free towel).

Watching the Parramatta game was awesome - more so than most games. Perhaps it was just enjoyable to see a club who has struggled played so well but their brand of footy was exciting to watch as well.

I hope the Warriors can sort themselves out, though.
