One thing I like about the new trading rules is that it's given rise to the DT 'role player'. Somebody who you wouldn't pick under the 20 trades a year rule, but who can fill some sort of gap in your side for a couple of rounds and then be traded out at no cost when his job is done.

How many 'role' players can you have before they choke your ability to improve your team?

Didnt Kruezer play as the number one ruck pretty much all last year?

He was avg 75 point pers 100 mins before his last game which was against argh Billy Longer - gee hard oppo

I think 4-6 with the expectation they will be gone before the upgrade/downgrade process.

Im picking quite a few.

However more calculated there are certain players i like eg: Ill use Dangerfield as an example.

I not only see the potential to possibly get to 107-110 avg but i also see at worst he has a very very easy draw to start with.

And here I was thinking 3-4 might be too many. :confused:

As for Danger, I only had him for 17 rounds last year (traded him for Rd5) and he averaged 112 in that time. Is a super premo top 8 mid lock for me. :)
 
LOL 11% have Scotland in their teams. You gotta take Assistant Coach for what it is...

I mean you said you checked it at the start which was late Jan, early feb (whenever the game was released) yet you still know what percent he is now?

That means you have had it for 6-7 weeks

I signed up for the 14 day free trial the day DT opened. Mrs G on the other hand only activated her free trial a few days ago, so I've been using hers to check stats the last few days. The women folk are useful for a lot of things, grasshopper. Should try getting yourself one. :thumbsu:

FWIW I agree with you but it really doesn't matter.

Still really, really tempted by Goldstein. He can average 100 as a sole ruck but he has stunk it up for much of the preseason. I think he will flick the switch when the real stuff begins.
