Keep an eye out on Jackson Thurlow from Geelong who has been named to debut tonight. Big wraps on him and if he can maintain his place in their side, he could be a very important downgrade in the backs considering the lack of any decent round 12 bye backmen this season (both rookie and premiums). Structurally he could be very important come bye rounds. I might even consider prematurely trading out Pittard for him in a couple weeks time.

You can have 2 players from each bye round per position as well as 4 on field players without causing any carnage..
I imagine you will have to trade Jäger for someone like Cotchin/Mitchell/Selwood/JPK/Jack which will reduce it to only 2/4 of your on field players being used. Backline is also going to be a worry for many in Rd13 with players like Goddard, Heppell, Dixon, Hibberd, Shaw and Gibbs if he is still popular.. You can probably have up to 4 of these guys so long as everyone else in your team this round is not injured or omitted and still field a full team of 18.

Actually even though I am a bit tipsy right now L.Brown and O'Meara are missing from round 13 but I can use MPP and put Martin or rockliff up to the mids and trade out Macaffer for someone with a round 11/12 bye.

At the moment I've got available:

Round 11: 20
Round 12: 18
Round 13: 17

This obviously doesn't include any trades I will do in the next two weeks, and also doesn't count Thomas (who is on my bench) as a player so when I trade him I will get an extra player for two of those rounds.

The split looks ok, the biggest issue is I can't afford to bring in anymore round 13 players, and these are the ones I actually want. For example, I don't currently have Heppell, Watson or Swan. So I need to find a way to still be upgrading through the bye season but still have slots available to buy them after the bye season.

this is the perfect time to trade Jaeger out - keep him till his bye and trade him out for someone playing that round, Jelwood, Smitchell, Lids, KJack, Mpriddis, KCornes all playing that week

By the way i must say it's nice you have a picture of Aunt Sally. Looking fwd to seeing more () of your
family members. Obviously I know of all your male members (did i just say that) so just the female ones would be a great help.
