Looks as if BOC's Blokes have the comp wrapped up after round 4?

Look i am the first bloke to bag umpires cos at times they make you shake your head or want to cry,
but if the blokes in the AFL dont have any idea what they are doing ! what chances do moro and his fellow whistle blowers in Div 2 have?

Apart from robina and yeronga i agree the rest of the comp looks fair even!

i will be down at training tonight to have a look at the fellas have a run around and to chew the fat with the old boys! no really sure whos playing well etc?

in regards to 16 round season , i really think its a joke TBH , like how do we decide who plays other teams twice before a ball has even been bounced? i mean i would feel robbed if you go Robina Yeronga Cooparoo twice ? and in saying that (other then bigfooty) how would you expect robina who avent played finals in 2 season in the comp to go to the level they have?

IMLOyou should play everyone twice , home and away (simlar to the EPL concept) weather that means this season playing 22 games , (less practice games) or next season depending on the number of teams considering wynumm , and redcliffe have hadly been competive maybe a 10 team comp 18 rounds that would work perfect.

Welcome back stanley. I was wondering why there was no comment when I had your boys 2 weeks ago. I 'll back that I did an ordinary job not the normal incompetent job I normally do as Graham even said "Moro you were ok today I only had to yell at you once"

Oh well you never know we may catch up in the not so distant future;)

The competition changes certainly were questioned early but I agree it's turning out to be a good comp. I won't divulge specifics but ur ressies guys that day looked like they had plans, backed them & executed them! As for the draw...joke! I get the balance but the fact that teams can play twice before they meet others once wtf?
Umpiring is getting a run on the forums of late, when I played, consistency shut me up, & there does seem to be a fair variance in interpretation, in saying that, footballers can make poor decisions so it's all part of the game!

Yeah look its been well documented weve got a cpl of handy talls in the 1's which has seen the 2's get access to some good players - our depth is good with a div 4 team where even blokes are missing out each week - which was a bit of a worry given the emergence of carrara as an option for blokes wanting to have a kick.
Yeh we are ticking along nicely but anyone thats ever been associated with footy knows they dont give cups out in may and ur only 1 or 2 injuries away from structures being effected so theres a long long way to go yet.

Regarding the draw i dont know what the other options are hey - if the AFL cant get it right it makes it difficult to expect AFLQ to have a div 2 comp with complete fairness!

Haha that is gold BOC - sometimes ppl read alot more into footy games than needs to be. Very very few sides can stick to some sort of game plan week in week out - usually revolves 2-4 blokes who can play the game very well.

Well the Robina Two's had the 4 blokes that worked very well together, a quick huddle, an orchestrated block or 2 & the ruckman hitting to a spot that a player just happened to run into...although I follow the Tigers, it was great clearance work to watch! Sustained week in week out? Who knows? Opposition ruckmen are probably the ones who could affect it the most.

Although ruckmen can be overrated at times, when you get a good one (combined with a few good onballers) it is a real piece of art. Agree Footy1st. Hopefully they take a few grabs around the ground as well! :)

Yeah happens week in week out when i start in the midfield ;) then lace out BOC game after game hahahaha

Good game Saturday bondy tigers best by a long way . Game played in great spirit . Being on Alex this week . BOC u back in this week ? G the race for the Coleman is tight fults on 37 and muggsy on 35 I'm backing muggsy in cos the devils are getting stronger every week .

looks like ur 2's fell in Devil.

We have the kings in what will be a great game in both grades.

Played last week but after kicking 4.6 may be lucky to keep my spot mate!

not too focused on goal kicking awards this year (oh how this has changed since richo is toweling me this year) but think Fults will be hard to beat.

Very very windy conditions on Saturday BOC 2's were always home mate . 10 scoring shots still a good effort . Big game this week for you guys to show us all where the kind are at ..

Yeah footy 1st is correct - 1-6 in order as named on the match sheet the interchange stewards have - this gets given to the home team rep to punch into sportingpulse. Is usually done in consultation with a coach or assistance coach in the rush after the game along with getting confirmation the scoreboard is right from the goal umpires.

I actually had to research that as I normally just check the goal kickers to make sure the only kicks I get are recorded properly!

Good recruiting is the reason . They are well drilled and well coached and play a possession style of footy with good skills to pull it off and of course fults up front to finish the good work up field . U boys ready for a long afternoon on the footy field tomorow?
