Yes they beat us in our previous fixture but I guess we were better on the day this time and we all know that each week can produce different things. I haven't seen UQ since Rd 3 so I can't make a judgement on them really but I'd say they always produce good form at the right end of the year so will be a very hard game. I would like to see the 1 v 2 Grand Finals in each to reward a full years worth of games for those sides, but it could be anyones. Would love to go and watch but in my opinion I don't see that as beneficial. I'd rather focus on our team and not over analyse opposition. I'd hate to play the game over in my head 20 times before it happens!

It was high and a tad late and the way the down fields and 50m penalties were being handed out I thought I was a bit stiff not to get something ha haMind you there is the "Red headed twat" deduction for those sorts of thing so probably a fair result!
Yeah I'd like to back Glenno, although he did miss a few and there may be others in the side pinching his votes.
Nicholson is the only one invited by the league from Griffith. The 2 from Pine Rivers are Cox and Chan.
Chan & cox would be for the 2s as they only player 3 games in the seniors.
Yeah that's what I thought. Cox is the captain I believe. A bit rough to have no seniors invited after finishing third!

i find it interesting that there are 17 invitations to players for an awards night that comprises both seniors and reserves counts. Do AFLQ still expect you to pay for a table of 10? sure coaches of both grades will probably go and a president, but think its harsh on a Logan / griffith / UQ who are then chasing blokes to go to a dinner on a monday night cause they are going to pay for there seats regardless of whether people are there or not.
Surely there is more than 1 bloke who polls votes in either grade for these teams!! why not invite the 2/3 highest vote getters from each team / grade and then let the off field contirbutors fill the other 4 spots..
Just realised Calamvale dont have an invitee - sure they seem like good blokes but "we are going to sting you for a table of 10 but there really isnt any point in anyone coming"

The league send you an invoice in the middle of the year for the table of ten. It's not a request, just an invoice. I think it is extremely harsh to not at least invite the leading goal scorer from each club and Top 2 from each grade.
I agree with Morro though it is quite the good night regardless and it will be interesting for us to sit in the position of still having a game to go! Should we pull a no show as a show of 100% focus?! Nope. A couple of shandys maybe!

And in all fairness calamvale probably dont have to many dramas getting 10 blokes there out of any of the clubs!

Calamvale is another top club to go with PR.....
