Are a lot of people forgetting or giving up on Staker? What are peoples thoughts there... two knee reco's, comeback at 29. He is very unlucky though, he would have def been playing every game these past two years... I think he will come back. He seems like a pretty professional type.

Not forgetting him, be he has barely played for two seasons. He will need to work his way back into it in the reserves to see how his body and form holds up. If all goes well, then he will come into calculations for the senior team.

A bit harsh seeing as Bigfooty is a place where people have a right to express their opinions about topis such as this.

Who would you take out of that side to fit all 3 of Lester, Beams and Staker in? I'd take Polkinghorne out for Beams and I find it hard to squeeze the other two in.

Its more the fact that he goes missing in games for lengthy periods. He teases with his potential like in the Round 10 WCE game, but cant get that consistency.

I reckon Polkinghorne will become a good player. He just needs confidence. Like Michael Whiting said in an article 'The slowly developing Polkinhorne' Give the lad time he will come good.

Yeah, there isn't much to get excited about in most of his games but he is one of our most experienced midfielders. It's puzzling exactly what he does so well that the coaches are picking him every week. I will be surprised if he doesn't play close to 22 games next year.

I think Polkinghorne needs to have a 'Breakout' year because he would be one I'd look at delisting if his current form continues on next year. I was totally gobsmacked that he did not get dropped.

The addition of Moloney will probably hurt him most. Would be hard to squeeze him into the midfield rotation now.

Forward wise, he's probably competing with Bewick as that medium marking type 4th forward. Bewick with the edge IMO
