Actually I see your point. Would like Yeo to be there but hard to leave Harwood out. Nice way to be I suppose having some guys who deserve a spot but we can't squeeze in.
 
Yeo was very good up until last two weeks....
Can't leave McGrath out of forwards..

How wonderful that we are talking about Clarke being "best 22" so early in his career. This young fella never takes a short step and will always give 100%.
 
Amazing he's jumped Goose... Goosed has gone from saviour to forgotten.... With an unknown non reported injury???

Goose hasn't be available for senior selection since Clarke has been promoted off the rookie list.

I'm just as impressed as the next guy with Clarke, but I certainly haven't forgotten Goose and look forward to when he is available.

My current preference is still to have Merrett, Goose and Patfull as our defensive talls. I bet it is Joel's too.;)

Seriously underestimating Goose's worth IMO.

Had to fit Martin in the team as the part time ruck leaving the team a tad tall over all but in saying that, both Martin and Staker have a bit of speed for their height and are athletic. Would have Sauce forward and leave Rich on the wing where he can spread from the contest better and control half the field. Clarke has overtaken Maguire but Goose still gets a game for the fact that our forward line is poor. We have our best possible clearance side starting in the midfield at first bounce.

Yeah I don't doubt that he has the skill, there's just too many similar players in our team ahead of him ATM. If Golby is back next game then hopefully he holds his spot and Yeo is dropped so we can see more of him

I personally think Yeo offers more to the team than Docherty, but Yeo has shown flashes of brilliance but not on a consistent basis. Based on consistency I would go with Doc.
 
Yeo can also play on medium forwards where Doc probably can't as well.

How effectively though? Granted a play like Lester was playing I would put Yeo in the midfield and Lester down back. If a player like Lester isnt playing Yeo does have Docherty covered.

It sure has for mine. For mine, the starting 22 if injury free and suspension free:

FB: Docherty, Merrett, Patfull
HB: Yeo, Clarke, Golby

FF: Green, Staker, Bewick
R: Leuenberger, Redden, Moloney
Bench: Raines, Black, Lester, McGrath

Emg - Adcock, Karnezis, Polkinghorne

Lester has solidified his position in the best 22 with strong performances this year. It was him or Karnezis and I went for Lester.

Clarke has been superb for us. A rookie draft prospect who has become one of the better KPD's in our team. A lot more mobile than Maguire too.

On form, I reckon Docherty has been better than Adcock. But won't be dropped because of his experience and on-field leadership. Frankly, he's regressed this year.

While Polkinghorne has improved since his return to the senior team, still feel like Beams has a higher ceiling than Pokinghorne because of his attacking flair.
