Adelaide, Norwood,
What's the contract situation with young Bulldog Mitch Wallis? Hawthorn are badly in need for a quick inside midfielder. It's one area we really do need time to invest into going forward.
How about Matthew Wright from Adelaide? With Adelaide's need to get in to the first rounds of the draft, I would be prepared to lose Richard Douglas as we have some good young midfielders waiting in the wings. I think most Adelaide players should be up for trade this year (apart from the obvious select few untouchables).

Apart from the obvious select few untouchables you don't have anyone who will get you into the first round.

A couple of doggies on here seem interested in David Mckay, but he'd take I'm guessing pick 20-30 to maybe get it done, what's your thoughts on him? Also sando should give Wrighty more playing time & not use him as a tagger he has massive potential imo.
1. He's not big enough for a tagger
2. He's your best short kick imo get the ball into he's hands at every opportunity

Chapman & Hunt would retire 1st out of them 4, then Corey I'd say Corey would go for 1 more year, Enright still has another 2 years of good footy in him I reckon, imo he needs to play on as Geelong are fairly old down back & have an injury prone defender in Rivers, bit like with what the dogs are doing with Rob Murphy & perhaps Dale Morris we need them 2 for experience & stability, if too many go at once can blokes like Thurlow for etc stand up straight away.

McKay - being played at half back which I don't think fulfils his potential. Has shown glimpses but hasn't gone on with it IMO.
Wright - needs to play inside mid and make it his own, but we have Danger, Thomm, and Sloane in front of him, as well as Crouch. Also have Kerridge and Grigg waiting in the wings to take that spot as well. He would flourish at another club I reckon.

Yeah correct, but I'm looking at from a view that Lamb will want to come to Victoria for more game time. In which case we (or any Victorian club) would hold leverage.

He's best 22 right now with Jetta looking less likely of returning from injury before finals.

He's best 22 next year with the likely retirement of Jude.

I just don't think Wrights a big enough body for an inside mid but in saying that he Sam Mitchell & Andrew Swallow are of similar stature, but like I said he has a decent short kick on him & is a great strength of he's. (he & sandos subs burnt me in dreamteam early in the season lol)

Greg Denham has just announced on SEN that Jack Watts will definately be playing at Carlton next year.
This will prove to be a good get for Carlton if true. He's been dudded by the horrible environment that Melbourne is. Malthouse will get him playing good football.

I agree with this, given the right environment he can properly develop - although it could be argued as to whether Carlton is that environment, I'm a lot more confident with Mick at the helm now.
