First time looking at this thread and it is quite the bit of comic relief. We all want a great deal, but come on, be realistic people.

Three things I will point out though are....

1. I can tell you 100% that if polec leaves Brisbane, he will be do everything he can to get to play for port Adelaide. He is still a massive fan and wants in. But whether it happens is another story. Would prob prefer a Melbourne based club next over crows.

2. Port aren't trading Shaw. They are very happy with him and he is contracted.

3. gorringe is deep in negotiations with port. He would prefer crows but their lack of trading power makes it near impossible.

If western bulldogs/st Kilda/Carlton cant get a hold of tom boyd would they consider Lewis Johnston from the crows.
Great Kick for goal, been killing in the SANFL over here for ages just got his chance in the AFL and played a great game in the showdown.

What would the crows get?

We'd consider anyone mobile. What would the Crows want? I assume they will try to get into at least the second round this draft via trade given their penalties.

Id say they would take second round(20 -30) + player but would want 1st rounder as he was one.

I went to the showdown and he was unreal for his second game (for the crows).

Is he actually up for trade though? He returned home pretty quickly from Sydney

Not sure but they need to get into the draft and i think he has more currency than Mckernan and is their only real chance of getting into at least the second round with out an uproar from the fans.

Doubt very much that we'd be all that interested. We still have Riewoldt and Maister (who was pretty much good for a couple of goals per game before his first injury this year) plus Stanley (depending which end he's playing at) and now Lee and I dare say we'll be keen to get games into Spencer White next year, plus more games into Hickey (that's 6 of them, before we even get to the likes of Siposs, who can play that 3rd tall role), so I'd say if we were to target anyone else for a key forward role they would have to be really really worth bringing on board.

ie. We'd be more than happy to add someone as good as Boyd (who also would compliment Lee and White going forward, being more of a "power forward" while they are more athletic), but otherwise there will be little point in adding someone that has been struggling to get into a forward line that has just lost the likes of Tippett and Walker.

Swans first rounder 13-18 + player for Pearce Hanley
It would have to involve a very good player as he is one of the top 3 players at our club imo and potential All Australian Squad member this year. He won't be traded unless he wants out, and as for him wanting $400K a year I am pretty sure that we would be going to give him that much if not more.

Got a Blues supporter at Work who seems so bloody confident that the Blues are going to get Jack Watts. Had a conversation with him and a Demons Supporter who seemed guttered to hear it.
What trade would both clubs be happy with?
I asked him these:
- Pick 9 and Mitch Robinson - Dees supporter said Yes which I was suprised with.
- Second Round Pick and Chris Yarran - Dees Supporter said No.
- Second Round Pick and Robbie Warnock - Dees supporter said No.
- Second Round Pick and Shaun Hampson - Dees supporter said Yes which I was suprised with as I rate Warnock higher.

Any other options/trades?

Luckily that Demons supporter isn't the Demons list manager..

Shaun McKernan to Collingwood - Hudson and Jolly have next to nothing left. Smack Grundy and Witts offer them 3 strong young rucks who can play Forward. Collingwood would also back themselves to get the best out of Smack, something the Crows havent been able to do.

Collingwood R2 Pick to Carlton & Crows R3 Pick to Carlton - With Mick in the chair and after missing finals youd expect him to make a number of list changes. 2 Extra top draft picks he'd back himself to steal some talent that missed the first round or two.

Carltons R2 Pick to GC - Gold Coast need to make list cuts, and would look to only have a few picks in the draft i expect. Another second rounder would do them nicely

Daniel Gorringe to Adelaide - The Crows need young athletic big men. And he is that. Plays forward or in the Ruck.

Overall:
Adelaide In: Daniel Gorringe Out: Smack & R3 Pick
Collingwood In: McKernan Out: R2 Pick
Carlton In: R2 (Coll) & R3 (Adel) Pick Out: R2 Pick
GoldCoast In: R2 Pick (Carl) Out: Gorringe
