Hey guys, I had Henderson in AFL Fantasy this year and he really impressed me in the second half of the year. Would love to work a Howard / 3rd Round for Henderson type trade basis us likely needed our 2nd rounder for Crameri.
From what I saw this year Henderson looked really good and I didn't see too many weaknesses in his game, can anyone fill me in on some of his weaknesses / reasons you aren't too upset to see him leave? I know he may be a little injury prone and I guess if he is homesick there isn't much point trying to fight that... Thanks in advance!
He really struggled up to this season with finding a place in the team where he could play consistently good football. This was, in part, due to a bad run with injury, but he also just really struggled to consistently contribute. A lot of the game time he got was due to his potential (he's a great size, and as athletic as they come), but when he got shifted to the backline after Reilly did his shoulder he was great as the loose man in defence.
The major weaknesses are probably a lack of real physicality and that he's pretty injury prone. The reason people aren't too upset about the prospect of him leaving is that the loose man in defence role is probably the easiest to fill, and it would be good if we could get back into the first two rounds of the draft. He's very talented though, and it would be easy to see him become a very good player, be that at the crows or some Victorian club.
