No, just keep your whinging in the correct thread so most of us that are over your negative posts don't have to read post after post after post of your negative comments in in this thread.

This is the Trading and Free Agency thread. There is a thread were you can moan about Trigg all you like, keep it there.
That is fair enough but reality is the whole trade period has been about restocking to cover for loss of top draft picks that due to poor season would have got us 2 very good picks due to the man we should not talk about here.

The trade period is, or should be, used to restock regardless of the penalties imposed from the Tippett saga.
This is something that we should be actively doing each year not because we lost draft picks.

Look at the Hawks and Swans as an example.

Couldnt agree more but you miss the key point highlighted from mid season by Noble and Sando was to get us back in top 25 for draft pick . Which we would not have needed to do if did not lose them .
Thus the Vince trade.

Theyve drafted and traded so well recently that theyve dropped from Premiers to probably not even in the 8 next season.

Last year: Dawes and Wellingham out, Q-Lynch and Young in. I wouldnt call that a win.
Um, they actually got Grundy for Wellingham. If there was a redraft right now, Grundy would be taken in the top 3 of that draft, and probably at pick 1. Wellingham for Pick 1. Ridiculous.

And Broomhead (will be a future star) for Dawes (a complete dud who is worth equal to Jesse White).

And now they'll get one of Aish, Scharenberg, Billings, Bontempelli or Kelly essentially for a Dale Thomas compo pick, and Jesse White for a pick in the 40s.

They've made out like bandits mate.

Wellingham is very underrated. Sure not pick 1 but hes a good player. Thomas is another top pick that's a pure gun. Dawes isnt as bad as you make out, will be good this year.

Sure they've replenished...but theyve also lost a lot of good players along the way and they have traded well. But essentially theyve had a premiership type list since they won it and have barely fired a shot.

He may be a better player but Wellingham is not going to impact the competition like Grundy will in the next few seasons.
Grundy is a totally different prospect and the fact is we wouldve had him had our administration not being a bunch of twats. Really makes me sad.

You gotta remember we've only seen a few games of Grundy, with his body fresh from a season in the VFL.
Hes going to have to be a lone hand this year and might find it tougher to handle a full season.

Not denying that theyve done well...just that people seem to forget theyve lost Dawes, Thomas, Wellingham doing it, who are all good players with years left.

No, those actions brought embarrisment and negative attention to the club which made their positions less tenable and forced change of the boards.
if people protested Triggy every day he came to work, and everday rang the club to complain about him, and a campain got going where people said they would bit renew their tickets and memberships dropped to 15,000 Triggy would be gone. Only a simpleton wouldnt understand that.
Except your posts have ceased being about Trigg. Most of the recent ones are based on your own hypotheticals on interpretations you are guessing at. The latest is that our list is now pissed off.

This is your 1st contribution to this thread.
I dont trust our club to trade in anyone of value.I advise against threads like this because frustration and dissapointment are the only outcome.
It's posts like this that people are pulling you up for.

Not exactly. We gave up pick 20 IIRC and Grundy went at 18.
