Better, similar or worse than his bro at a similar age?
significantly better. More well rounded game. Mav was always a solid inside contested ball winner, but had limited outside game and didn't have damaging disposal. Lachie is well rounded, has polish, leadership and excellent skills on both sides of the body.

Yeah the guy's a jet. Can't see him getting past Richmond at the latest.

There will most likely be a top 10 choice pushed out to our pick if De Goey and Cockatoo get snapped up early. Reckon it could be someone like Ahern?

Would we take him if he was there? Seems like we've got a lot of HFF.

Not sure if it's just having access to the vision but some of the smokies on the draft machine look pretty good this year.

Could be a good time to restock the rookie list as the club appear to be doing.

The last time I thought this was 2010 when vision of equivalent players like Mullett was floating about.

For the love of god North please land Reece McKenzie. Our forward line will be well and truly set post-Petrie.

We'll have a good balance:
McKenzie-gorilla strong marking forward
Black-Athletic
Brown-Tall mobile forward
Wood-high lead up half foward/wing

Also Cock ending up early at WC or Essendon could be a blessing in disguise. Means we can potentially get a slider like Durdin/Weller for 16....much prefer a bargain than paying full price for a player even if it's Cockatoo.

there is some really good value out there after 30-40. There will no doubt be some misses like usual, but I think there will be more value in the rookie draft this year compared to the last 2-3 years.

A lot of tall project types like Ah Siu, Payne, Dear amongst a heap of others.

I wouldn't be too quick to pigeon hole kids into a position straight out of U18's. Even if they are playing as flankers now, an AFL club may see a genuine midfielder in time.

Brett Anderson, who knows a bit, has us getting Cockatoo at 16, Menadue at 25 & DVR at 36.
that would be awesome, but we really do need a KP player with at least 1 of our ND picks

Menadue do not want.
How come? my biggest issue with him is his size. At this stage he is very slight in frame.

Yeah I agree looks to be a long term project player and I think there are better short term players than him at 25 like Toby Mclean. Its possible he may still be available at 36 though.

Unless an exceptional tall slides to us I have no problem with not using any of our picks on a key defender.

There's a good chance of getting 'best available' style talent with all 3 picks and between Delaney (or equivalent if we're gazumped) and another rookie option + Tippett I think there's reasonable depth after Hansen, Grima, Thompson, Spud (pinch-hitting).

WTF!!! Is The North Melbourne Football Club now the same as campaigner?
Can only assume it's the admin having some fun trolling the bay in the offseason.

Some on there seem to thing the mods here complained. Not having heard a peep of that here other than mods editing out n o r f when opposition posters forget where they are, and not living close enough to Chaddy to lurk the food court, I'm going to assume that's not actually the case.
