International 2014 Anzac Test

The Kiwis will be after revenge when they meet the Kangaroos on Friday the 2nd of May. The Annual ANZAC test will return to the Sydney Football Stadium at Moore Park with kick-off pencilled in for 7.30pm.

Stephen Kearney has managed retain the coaching job for the Kiwis and he will be hoping his side can restore some pride in the Kiwis jersey. The Kiwis were dusted up in the 2013 RLWC Final with the Australians running riot 34-2 in front of a world record 74,468 fans at Old Trafford.

ANZAC Test crowds in Sydney over the years have been pretty disappointing. The ARLC will need to get the marketing of this match right so the fixture receives the crowd befitting of a test match.

Australia and New Zealand will be to co-hosting the 2017 RLWC. With the bidding process yet to begin for the hosting of individual matches, World Cup organisers will be watching with interest to gauge how interested Sydney siders are in test rugby league. Brisbane hosted the 2008 RLWC Final in front of a sell-out crowd. If the crowds don't improve in Sydney there will be a big chance the Queenslanders will also host the 2017 RLWC final.

Greg Eastwood was selected.

JWH is the stand out non-selection, he's quality, must've done something bad on the world cup tour.

Their spine should be good going forward, with RTS, Foran, Johnson and Luke around. They'll get slaughtered in this game though unfortunately.

So now they're talking about Harris at 6?

This practice of playing second-rowers in the halves, it reminds me of Castleford playing Weller Hauraki there.

Actually, there's a thought: he *is* a Kiwi, and has actually worn the 6 jersey a fair few times... :p

Inglis has played at 6 but he is a fullback/centre. Ben Creagh was a centre but now is a 2nd rower.
