Feel like playing some fantasy football but want something a little different?
Can't be bothered finding out what your ranking was in DT and SC last year and sending it to dlanod?
Well then, how bout joining the extremely prestigious Lions Ultimate Footy League?
We had our inaugural competition last season with our worthy winner being Karnezis_13 and I was hopeful that we can find at least eight players to go around again this year.
With Ultimate Footy you get the fun of drafting your own team (Polkinghorne can be yours and yours alone!) and scoring is based on categories of stats, not points so for example ruckmen who get hitouts and nothing else become more valuable (Longer, I'm looking at you buddy). Add up each player's stats to form a team total for each category and if your team is winning in a majority of categories, then you win the game!
Last season we used Score, Kicks, Marks, Handballs, Tackles, Hit Outs and Free Kick Differential as our stat categories and we'll probably do the same this season.

Draft begins at Friday (March 7th) at 7pm. Initially there will be four hours for you to select your player (unless you've set your team to auto-pick your selection based on your player rankings) and the clock will only count down between 8am and 11pm. If you don't select a player in this time then a player will be selected for you based on your player rankings.
If you know that you won't be online for a length of time to make your pick you should change your settings to autopick so that the draft can move along as we need to get this wrapped up before the season starts. I believe you can only change this setting once the actual draft has started though.
Once you've made your pick, please tag the person who's got the next selection in this thread so they know that they are up next.
