Lol a mate showed me a highlights package of Petracca midseason. I thought the exact same thing about him, can get ball, turns it over lol
End of the day it's a small snippet of what these kids are like as players.
That vid shows he gets in and gets the ball, can run with it and the fact as a mid I'm guessing they trust him with the kicking in duties would suggest he was one of the better kicks in that side.
Weller, Laverde and Ahern before this guy in my estimations.

According to who, most of the phantoms that are out have him outside the top 40, so don't even rate him at all. Don't be mistaken I like the kid and would be wrapped if we picked him up with a 3rd round pick based on those rankings.

Bottom aged I think and so has more room for improvement. Many think he is a dark horse in this draft with the potential to become one of the better players from this cohort.
Yeah I've heard the same. He'd be the best option outside of Weller/Ahern/Laverde/Pickett.

Lol he is the best ball user forward of center in this years draft. A dream to play with as a leading forward.
Checked his highlights reel...kid is a very clean player...always moving...and looks to move the ball on at all times...big kick...
Needs to work on kicking disposal...on building his frame...definitely not an in and under...solid player all the same..

Could be going a bit far here but a little bit of Hannerbry about him perhaps. Underage. Not a big kid at this stage but doesn't hold back. Looks smooth on the left and really lively feet. Highlights reel does make his kicking look suspect but all the press is he is a very good kick of the ball. Could go alright off of the HBF before taking ownership of the opposite wing to Brando. Obviously delivery into the forward 50 is an area we can improve.
Have been told that Pickett had the worse 3km time trial. Though it might have just been the worst out of his group.
Just curious, how many times have you seen Duggan play? Duggan has very good foot skills, in fact it's arguably his best trait.

If it was last overall then hopefully he slides into the 20's and we can downgrade our pick for a number of picks or upgrade one of our later picks. As someone's running capacity is probably one of the easiest things to improve in an AFL environment. (or with the help of Miles's running coach....
)My worry about Drummond is that he's an athlete first and a footballer second. I don't think he gets that much of the ball and his kicking can be iffy at times. I'd be happy to take him in the second round, but that's it. He reminds me of an unrefined Heath Shaw in his dash.

Granted he was an overaged kid in the TAC Cup but they are still pretty decent numbers.

Being 23rd man he wouldn't have got that much game time still not bad numbers considering.
He's had a few quiet games mixed in with those though, it's an issue of consistency, let's not forget that Drummond has been playing midfield which pumps up his numbers, it also exposes his kicking skills and decision making more. As a defender he didn't rack up the stats as much, and his kicking improved.
