Teenage boys (and girls) are capable of ridiculous behaviour that makes a rational adults shake their heads. We tend to forget that after a while and project our educated, experienced adult mindsets onto them. Being good at basketball/football doesn't make someone automatically immune to the sheep mentality most teenagers have, and the propensity to do things without considering the consequences on anyone but themself.

If the circumstances are as described, I doubt it is the ego of being a sportsman causing the issue and more just good old teenage idiocy. Hope the girl in question has received the support she needs and that Archie has learned his lesson. That's what those years are for.

Depends on how the academy boys perform will depend if we have a live second pick or not

Yeah, I understand teenagers are capable of silly things but posting abuse comments of facebook is next level stupid as anyone can access it. Makes it even worse considering it was to someone who was underage and he's employed by an AFL club. Doesn't this club have a chat to our new recruits about the dangers of their actions on social media?

Hoping we can add a bit of class and pace with our 2nd pick (assuming no academy picks). Whilst i think we do need another quality all round mid, someone who is a bit more outside, can break some lines with some speed and hit a target would be a nice addition. Aish is looking more and more like a much better rounded midfielder than i had though when we drafted him. Hopefully combined with Beams staying healthy our general on ball brigade isn't too bad depth wise, although certainly young. Still feel we lack some pace in our side. Hanley isn't bad down back, and Green and Zorko add some zip across HF and the middle, but it would be good to have someone who could run down a wing with some pace.

If Dawson and Hammerman perform as expected and cost us round 2 and 3 I would be surprised if we look to bring in more untried kids with our late picks. I can see us making a play at fringe Giants and Suns and even Port players with a couple of years development in them.

Not sure if anyone has read this,it was published on March 21st. Both Dawson and Hammelman seemed highly rated in the preseason.even though rankings can change quickly Dawson seems to be right up there.

Personally there is a few players I disagree with there actually. Some of the better performers have missed out at this stage.

I struggle to see how they have Hammelmann and Dawson that high. Dawson probably fits in around the 15 to 20 mark for mine and Hammelmann is not someone I have in my top 40.

They certainly do a good job posting match reports and finding some of the advanced stats out for people who are interested.

Generally if they don't have "key" next to their name, they are a small/medium forward.

Will be interesting to see if reports of Durdin's poor performance on the weekend have as much effect on opinions of him as Wright/McCartin the week before.
The BF draft board is a very strange place.

On another note, watching Tom Lynch consistently out-reach his opponents every week does get me a little excited about what Wright might be able to do(I did say might). Oh boy, delicious!
