Does anyone else feel Polkinghorne has some trade value? I've been thinking lately of players I would look to go after if I was Leppa and Toumpas is one of them. In a perfect world we could offer Melbourne a second/third round pick and Polks for Toumpas or we could offer Polks & Golby in a package deal for Toumpas and a third rounder. I let my imagination run free with this one haha

Can't see them doing it, but never say never.

Do you feel Polks has trade Value to a team like Melbourne, GWS, Bulldogs or St Kilda?

.....if injunctions don't work and 2 year suspensions become an issue..add the Dons to that list.

One more question I have is what would people be willing to give Richmond for Vickery in a trade? I have a feeling we will go after him..

Out of contract, isn't he?
If that's the case, I'd imagine he'll be delisted(probably would've happened last year if not for the gh5).

Signed a two year contract this year not a likely scenario that we will.

Polks isn't worth anything I think. Probable delisting at the end of the year.

Also, we wouldn't get Toumpas with anything less than a first rounder IMO. He is a number 4 draft pick from only 2 years ago. It would be something like giving up Mayes for pick 20 and a Melbourne fringe player.

I wouldn't mind paying overs to get Boyd though. Something like pick 2 & 20 for Boyd.

That trade is massively in favour of us. Not even close to realistic.

I would love Boyd but I think GWS would just laugh at us no matter what we offered.

Polks looked for a trade last year but nobody was interested. Nothing's changed.

Is Hugh projected to be good for 60 snags a year ?

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-04-24/making-a-name-for-himself

Goddard, at 195cm and 91kg, will spend this year with the Geelong Falcons, Vic Country and Melbourne Grammar as a key position player, ready to be flicked between centre-half forward and centre-half back.

Recruiters ask what position I enjoy more and what I think I'm better at, and I'm happy to play wherever. I want to make that point. I do enjoy playing forward, but I'm comfortable in going back and doing what I've got to do," he said.

Probably not, but Mitch Thorp, Justin Koschitzke, Beau Dowler and Scott Gumbleton probably were. ;)
