Why do you see them getting 2 picks? Frawley?

If Petracca maintains his form line for the remainder of the TAC Cup and has a decent draft camp, I really think St Kilda will have to pounce.
If so, you'd think Melbourne wouldn't take both Wright and McCartin. They'll surely be looking at Durdin or a mid with one of their picks.
We could still get one of the two tall forwards even if the Dees cut in line with two picks.
Geez, I dunno. They invested in a midfield last year. It would be a massive call to ignore a quality key forward.
What about GWS though?

Last year, St Kilda took Billings, Acres and Dunstan with top 20 picks. I know Petracca is the flavour of the month but, geez, they are worse off than us for a tall forward and don't have a Hammelman to fall back on.

I'm sitting on the fence with this one, so genuine questions:
Do you put any stock in beefing up the midfield first, then trading in a KPF? I know there have been obvious issues with this in the past (and, yanno, Carlton), but we've also had issues with players languishing in the ressies then going home.
Do we need to start drafting kids, that are more likely to play seniors early, especially with early round draft picks...then trade in mercenary talls for serious coin, a la the Swans? Trickier without the benefit of COLA, and I'm not suggesting it'd be easy, but in concert with project home-grown talls, I'm musing over the validity of the approach.
