About what you'd expect for his size, meaning not great but his not terrible either.

On basis we have 5+25 I'd be looking at Wright and someone like Ellis if he was still there. I can tell you one of our recruiters is all over Jets and Cannons kids like Ellis and Laverde. If we had another pick or a rookie, you could NOT go past Caleb Daniel all 167 cms of him.

As good as Daniel is 4 small player's is enough for 1 team
Should be upgrading O'Brien and Bourke to the senior list. Was thinking that it would probably be worth getting Wearden(on senior or rookie list) back. Started to show promise before that injury he had.

do you think it was a tough delisting? i get the impression in some cases we are too trigger happy with our delisting unlike some other teams who are more likely to give project/upcoming players more time to adjust and get games and make a name for themselves

Was close to bog in the 2013 Neafl GF and strung together some quality games around this time. Didn't get a clear run at it this year at all due to injury.

Some he had some injuries, sure, but I can't recall seeing anything in particular that said, this guy HAS to remain on our list.

Id rather we upgrade ZOB and Burke, rookie some academy kids and take a few good state league players with our few late picks in the draft.
I thought Wearden was unlucky to be delisted. Injury came out the wrong time with the new coach and all.
Just thought he was unlucky to be delisted given the amount of list spots we now need to fill with speculative draft picks. Especially given he can play positions where we are lacking some depth. Was always a project player but really looked like taking another step before he picked up that injury. Was unlucky not to play a few senior games last year imo.
Was always a favourite of mine. Even before we picked him up.
I'm not sure how long it's been since we didn't really have anything to be excited about on draft day.

From my calculations we will have 3 senior spots available after this trade, if it occurs. After academy kids our picks would be 81 and 99. I assume that we would receive a draft pick as part of this trade because otherwise we will be short one senior listed player. Of course we can go into next year with 39 senior players and 5 rookies. However, IMO this isn't ideal. IMO we are best off working hard to get another pick inside the second round which in an ideal world would be Collingwood's pick 30, but I'd assume it will be 48 placing our first live pick in the 3rd round. Hopefully there will be sliders like Templeton.

I believe he would qualify but I don't think we'd look at him. Would be better options around.
It's always a possibility if he's there late. Depends if we rate him higher than who else is available for those spots you would think. I wouldn't rule it out though.
I remember Swabby saying that if there is a QLD talent and a Vic talent available they will go the Qld player even if he is slightly below the Vic player. Going by that if he is available still I think he is a huge chance! Hopefully anyway!!

My recollection is that it was "all else being equal", not "slightly below".
