Reading you are Bidding on Darcy Moore Tommorow
Apparently the Saints are more into McCartin than Wright, so if both are available, they'd probably take McCartin leaving Wright a possibility for us.
There was also a few people saying that the saints really love Ahern. I wonder if they'd possibly consider taking Ahern over one of the key forwards. Maybe not over McCartin since they appear to like him, but they might instead of Wright.

If st kilda have pick 1 why wouldn't they take a key forward? Riewoldt is nearly done which leaves only Ryhs Stanley.

If the Saints take McCartin, Brisbane unless they trade for Beams, WILL take Wright. The Giants trading up, and Brisbane staying put will spell bad news for us on the forward front. If that happens, we will have to trade up. Any other scenario, we should be fine. Cannot have both Brisbane and St.Kilda ahead of us. Exception of the Saints holding firm and taking Petracca
Then we take Lever or Durdin. Let's not kid ourselves, a dominant key forward is nice but you can make do with an average forward being fed by a strong midfield and with quality defenders cutting off oppostion attacks.
We'll know tomorrow morning about 9 o'clock old boy.Are we still interested in Abe Davis?

I'm not so sure Brisbane will take Wright though. A number of coaches and recruiters from Brisbane have stated or implied that they don't really rate him. If they do take him though, hopefully it means Lever is still available. I'd probably prefer him anyway. Someone said that after speaking to Callum Twomey, was told that most clubs suggested that he'd be a second round pick with one club believing he is worth a top 10 pick! I hope whoever believes that doesn't have a pick before our second one. Or maybe the club that rates him so high is the doggies.Pretty sure the Swans are going to sign him.
Anyone know if Cockatoo will be around for our second pick? Jesus his highlights are impressive!

Brisbane will get the beams trade done I reckon, so I can't see them hanging on to pick 4. Need to concern ourselves with what the pies want more.

I really want to land Steele. Stupid GWS and the stupid NSW academy. It will be interesting to see how high we will be willing to bid. I reckon we'll go early with our second round, which I don't mind.aw gee
if we bid on a play tomorrow that and land them
I'll be watching their highlights and everything for weeks
come on down, one or two of Hammelmann/Steele/Davis/Finlayson
just expect Collingwood to take Moore
maybe it will be our year to take multiple KPPs?could it be?
Yeah, I think McCartin is the better mark, since he can take them from any position whether it's above the head or inches off the ground. He throws himself at packs much harder too. Wright is way bigger though, and is very athletic for a guy his size. He is also a much better kick.Well in that case, maybe their is still some hopeI was talking to a mate who is a big Lions supporter. He seems pretty adamant that the Lions will draft a big key forward as their most pressing need. Apparently they are high of McCartin. Hence it won't surprise me if they went with Wright regardless.
Going by two articles tonight, seems most people think McCartin as a Full Forward would suit us way more than Wright, despite many recent rumours linking us to Wright more.
McCartin is more mobile, faster and a better marker am I right?
Hammelman not nominatedaw gee

Interesting, makes sense why we want to trade up then. Honestly who ****ing knows what we're gonna do, it's something different every day and were so tight lipped on everythingQuayle also reported we're into McCartin, not wright

The highlights package I saw of him doesn't do him any favours at all. It showed a couple of good things but overall doesn't make him look impressive. Think he is a level below the top key forwards of previous years. Can all you blokes take a look at the McCartin "highlights " again , and convince me it's a good idea we sell part of the farm to get him ?
I am in need of some serious convincing.
