We've got our Boyds. I hope we get our Mckenzies at 26 + 27.

So do a lot of StKilda guys at 21 & 22.

He performed well in the curtain raiser before the Grand Final, Hammelmann is the other key forward I liked

but I suppose you could see why from watching a full game he didn't get nominated

My information is we will rookie Michael Fogarty, Greenwood to miss out.

I have a bit of an issue with both Fogarty & Greenwood

I thought drafting a rookie was about giving someone a chance that has the ability or potential to make AFL. Conversely giving a player who has played AFL a second chance because they have shown glimpses in what we want as a player at their previous club.

Fogarty will never be an AFL player
Greenwood will never be an AFL player

So the question is why rookie people who have no chance of ever making it?
You are better off looking at a Dan Connors or a gun interstate mature ager than persevere with people that aren't up to it in any way.

So I've been having a hard time getting on lately because of sickness and other stuff. So we are interested in EVW and Webb? anyone else? Got a feeling that we might have a look at Payne not 100% sure but he would just be the best foil for Boyd in this draft so I wouldn't be surprised if we are interested especially if it is with one of those picks in the 40's. Also on a personal note Billy Evans looks like a very good player I know there is practically 0% of the dogs drafting hi but there is something that screams out at me about him.

I'm hoping Evans gets through to the rookie draft kid looks like a really good player if not I'd be content with an few outside type mids as rookies and a tall. I hope Dan Mckenzie drops through I like him.

Caleb Daniel and Jack Lonie rated 16 and 17 in the draft based on champion data. I think these two will be a bargain for whoever gets them late.

Me too I'm hoping for us to get Payne for the reasons that I have stated before but hope we maybe manage to get Menadue if we can't get Dan McKenzie. Also we have a connection with the junior coach of DVR and Payne.

Really like the look of a few of the lesser rated guys that hopefully fall through to the rookie draft. Daniel and Evans look like they could be there atm.

Yeah Billy Evans, again as a rookie he'd make a good addition particularly with the losses in our midfield if he comes on like the rest of our 190cm mids then he could be one of the best picks we make. Started footy late but has actually pretty good disposal, ain't slow and hits the scoreboard. Big lump of a lad too could easily have a playing weight around 95kg and looks to have a few more cm's of growth he is 189cm now could become 191-192cm. Grow the army of monsters I say

Overager from Tasmania can also play as a KPF, very good ground level skills for a bloke his size and makes the right choices with the ball. I like him but I'm not sure he'll get to the AFL unless he does a Ben Brown.
