I've seen him a hell of a lot more than that 1 game, and I'd be perfectly happy using a 2nd round pick on him.

Then you'd have seen his excellent body positioning, closing speed and spoiling ability.
Also the rebounding ability he's shown not in the champs.

What risks are you seeing? There's his body size, but not much after that, imo.

Ayce's shoulder injuries don't impact on Zaine's ability to play football.

Zaine's looked a natural when I've seen him - he's going to have poor games, as everyone does. From what I've seen he reads the play well, compensates for his lack of size with intelligent positioning and has excellent disposal. He's certainly not 'too small', unless you want him to be a beast KPD, and that's simply not the case.

He's not going to be a key defender in the AFL. He's perfect third tall height.
Can't even slightly agree with the other two. Especially that he misreads the flight of the ball. That's one of his best strengths.

Ayce's shoulder injuries don't impact on Zaine's ability to play football.

He hasn't exactly had much of a chance. He's spent most of his 19 games (!!!) at AFL level in a key position, and looked likely as a defender and less so as a forward. That's not accounting for the injuries, which I call reasons, not excuses. They're injuries, after all, not indiscretions.

I'd suggest he's very much worth looking at as a potential rebounding defender with excellent disposal who can also take on key forwards when necessary. Did us a world of good having Darley on our side on Sunday. We've struggled to recruit half back flankers, and now we've got dibs on a player who fills both tall and small defensive roles. Irrespective of his bloodline, I think he's more than worth looking at with a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

Yeah probably was , just don't want to draft him for the sake of being a father son , if there was a better player available where zaine was to be taken , I would be hoping we took the best option

Yeah hammelman looks impressive kietel was good down back so was Goddard had only seen him as a foward and he was shocking but today I seen why they say he will go top ten , cripps looked quick reminds me a little of jones , creeper honestly didn't pay much attention to him but from what I remember he was ok .... Before I forget I didn't mind another tall from Queensland played foward only had about 4 possessions but was a good mark and kick

I agree with you , last thing you want to do is to be seduced by father sons.
But I can see a bit with Cordy , think 3rd rounder would be a good get.
The highly rated McCartin doesn't look like an early first rounder to me. He looks awfully slow ?
