Think McKenzie is captain of Marcellin not sure though just remember flicking through some stuff when I was researching
wouldn't be too hard for a player that kicked all those goals in TAC and back it up at School Footy

especially a guy built like McKenzie, also has a basketball background which I'm sure our recruiters would like to..

should be all over Creeper then from WA

great name, played mostly as a KPD; not regularly talked about :D would be a late pick

O'Rourke had his share of problems to, bad hamstring issues

Really like the sound of Creeper as a will of the wisp forward.
One minute he's not there then the next he's come from nowhere !

Creeper is a bit of a bad word for me atm. They have just wrecked my house in minecraft. And have been black listed by me as a consequence :P

that is why he'd be good

bad luck for opposition teams  anyhow

Abe Davis, Matt Hamellmann, Nick Coughlan, Mitch Mahady, Cameron Conlon, Reece McKenzie and Creeper (guy doesn't need a first name) ;) are a few KPP that could go forward

I will watch the Champs again sometime next month, all games and add some more players in

the player I've really seen nothing of is Mahady, I see the Pioneers even smashed the NT boys

Dalrymple's nickname. He's a mate of mine. Goos sportsman. Worst case of white line fever you've seen, but a good judge of talent (as I think we all agree)

Right cool. Shall enjoy your info later in the year then. And tell him to pick Laverde.

A Carlton win puts us in Brayshaw, wright , McCartin, Durdin, petraca territory.

If Brayshaw is the guy on the board, do we take him? Keen to hear more about him.

You know why Carlisle kicked 8 goals for Essendon last week? Because we didnt bloody draft him!

A Champion team beats a team of champions, and a champion team includes quality talls.

For gods sake, if we dont draft one of Durdin or Lever, I will go spare.

Jake Lever is my bet (which i'd be happy with).
Not a bad guess, he's somewhere amongst the 3-4 players I expect to be at my pick that would be a good option (not giving away where he's positioned though ;)). I'm really curious to see where he goes both in the phantom and in the real thing. Injury complicates things but he's a relatively known quantity and has some fantastic ability. Could go as early as the Giants' pick for mine.

So who do we think I'm going with with my first pick in the trial run? ;)
Clem Smith :p

but seriously? probably Hugh Goddard or Jake Lever

still a bit tough to pick at this stage, its after the TAC Championships we'll really get to see which players step up in the big games

if most of them don't have as much of an impact, probably will go Lever though

If this is the Jake Lever you're all talking about, he'll do me. Tall, athletic, nice kicking action and can catch it. Perfect.

well there are the highlights on the AFL site as well
see some good intercept marks, apparently is 194cm now and was 191-192 at the start of the year
seems a very smart footballer

I've gone from Lever/Pickett to Duggan to Durdin to Marchbank to Laverde and back to Lever :drunk:

as a KPD I think Lever has all the attributes you'd want and would form a nice trio with Rough & Talia
would probably mean Roberts goes up forward, but I like this
:D

Ok so I'll bow to your more extensive knowledge of the players than me but looking from the outside and on limited footage, both Marchbank and Lever look good, but Lever looks more agile from what I've seen. Also he seems to like to play on when he has the ball, which means he's suited to modern football AND he has a football brain. He'd do me if his knee scans ok. Is he going to the combine?

yes, Lever if there are no other setbacks has said he'll be back for the combine

he might be back even for the finals but I'm not sure if he'd be risked or what the rules are..

But I like Durdin, Marchbank and Lever FWIW. I'm not sold on Brayshaw and I'm not sure why.
I think his ability to kick off both feet is overrated because he isn't that good of a kick to be honest

Durdin needs some decent games at SANFL now, really unimpressed watching him live
I think thats a problem, a highlights reel can make a lot of players look better then they are

anyhow, I think Macca might be one of those who believe 'the best offense is a good defense'

He doesn't listen to me. I insisted he pick Boyd last year, but he got Bontempelli instead ;)

I think based on his recent form we should shut up and listen to Dalrymple, rather than telling him who to pick! :p He has had three very good drafts in a row now.
