hopefully Duggan does play up forward, should be interesting to see how much of an impact he has in another position

What are the chance of us trading up or out of the draft?

highly unlikely, nothing to stop another club doing the same and tossing in some sweetener, such as a player

If GC are wanting to add more KPP depth and we have around 4-5 then they may be interested, again still unlikely as
other clubs will have the very same idea in mind :(

I work with Peter Wright's Dad Norm. He would be happy with the Dogs, prefers a melbourne club. Good kid, good family, knows his strenghts and knows what he needs to work on. Gee if we get him at least we would have a long straight kick. Beautiful action and natural.
It is everyones duty to spread this information in every forum possible. Rumours can catch like wildfire - maybe we can scare Brisbane and GWS off.....

Let's just leave it to Wright himself to Wingard them ;)

Tyler Keitel with 3 goals at 3/4 time against SA, wondering if Sam Durdin is his opponent, think the kid is bit of a freak Keitel

Anyone still want to argue against the merits of pace? ****ing anyone?!
LOL no

on the way home I was thinking, when you're right, you're right
was really ugly, REAL ugly loss today; Gia isn't fast and had a huge impact, still think we need both pace AND skill

thinking of heading down to Simmonds to watch Metro vs Country

if anyone else is going, do let me know
will make some notes and of course, watch inZaine :P

I'm happy to have pick 1 at this point. And pick 2. And pick 3. And whichever other pick GWS doesn't ****ing have this year, those campaigners.

Yes, cos all the pace in the world won us a Prelim in 2008-10.
yea and not only that our first pick will likely go towards a tall which doesnt impact our "pace", and latter picks on players with pace will be highly unlikely to 'make it' let alone dramatically inject 'pace' into our team.

Maishman had a good game according to TAC Cup Future stars.
Was solid, smooth running, nice kick; liked his game

watched the second half with Igloo, man I watched Duggan and wonder what his endurance was like because he was in everything in the first half and in the fourth had a spill on the slippery ground and weaved between two players and pin pointed a handpass to a solitary team mate, was kinda magic/pulled it out of his backside heh

was really impressed with Butler from Country, but don't think he is for us

Cordy can really kill the contest, very light compared to some of the people he played on but would get into the right spots at the right time

saw him drift off his opponent and intercept mark and thought it was pretty strange that he had that instinct to go to a spot

will comment on more players later, was busy crossing players off when they had 3 or more clangers :p

Top ranked players 1. Lonie VC (128) 2. Howe VC (121) 3. Petracca VM (115) 4. Laverde VM (108) 5. Capiron VC (108)

from champion data, thought Laverde was quiet, liked the look of Capiron but not the greatest kick either of them

would have been lovely to see Viojo-Rainbow out there

Who the ****'s saying it would've won us a flag back then? I'm arguing that it's a huge advantage, and if you're still adamant it isn't after last night's game, you need to have your brain checked.

head down to the game at Simmonds? saw Duggan take off from a standing start at one stage, was lightning quick

as Twoomey and Anderson are saying on twitter, the big names were quiet today; Goddard could barely get near it and Country dominated

Nah, Geelong's too far away for me.

Judging by the last few reports though, starting to look like Petracca will be a bolter after moving into the midfield. I've only seen him play forward so far, but he definitely has the attributes to be a destroyer through the middle and I'm assuming he's starting to show that now.

bit like a young Ryan O'Keefe
will be interesting to see what happens regarding Petracca once Brayshaw returns

Cordy was real solid, was surprised how he'd peel off his man and be where the ball ended up
Lamb was unfortunately injured, Goddard was very poor; in fact, barely would notice he was out there
