Dallas Wilsmore was with Conlon that year. I think we had Duggan and Duom Dawam this year.
that is right

freo had 3 players train with them! Ryan Lim from WA went to Richmond to train

its not very long though, 1 week

and I think you might be right on Willsmore

Does Durdin remind you of Tom Williams ? From what I have seen of him down back his Williams all over

2010 Williams maybe, when he was going with players like Nick Reiwoldt

he actually reminds me more of Jake Carlisle, looks far more dominant down back then up forward
but I'd take him if we were planning on using him as a key defender

The way he moves and marks reminds me of tom

Tom Williams?
he can mark above his shoulders? show me

I don't see it to be honest, anyhow
player comparisons are dumb
Your a battler then if you don't see it haha :)

People only seem to be talking about Goddard and Durdin, and how bad they played up forward

1. You are all forgetting that they are both predominantly defenders, not forwards, hence I am not surprised at their struggles up front. Both played better down back as well, and Durdin is still getting fitness back after a layoff with injury (when I broke my finger, I was scared to catch a ball of any sort for weeks and weeks)
2. Goddards stock has dropped, but Durdin is still rated by most as a top five potential
3. Some of Durdins strengths is his marking ability, ability to read the play, and he is considered a good kick
4. I may be the only one, but judging players based on 3-4 games in the National Championships, we should be looking at their whole under 18's year as well. As much as the Championships are considered the "best of the best" I don't think it that so much more superior that only those games count, we have often been mislead by players form in the past. Plus coaches tend to play key positions players at opposite ends of the ground, sometimes due to lack of depth, height or top end talent. Don't see the point of taking players out of their position of strength
5. "I hope we don't draft **********, he was terrible up forward" Well good, because you'd be silly to draft a player who is a defender as a forward with a high pick. We need a CHB, and I think Durdin could fill that role, and play the lose man role really well as well

I am still on the Durdin bandwagon and not put off, though will be interesting to see how Goddard responds and plays our the rest of the under 18's season

That being said, I think this years KP stocks have been overhyped from the get go last season, yes it is deeper, but that is all in my opinion, a deep one. And no one is really screaming out definite A grader at the moment. Then again many top rated talls struggled in the Championships, must be some kind of tall persons flu or something going about aha

I think Durdin would be good against the more athletic forwards actually
KPPs are hard to come by and I'd understand if we took one, but I think we should tread carefully

 we probably will take a KPD, not sure what this means for Roberts
if he'll start playing more up forward, who knows >.>

Your a battler then if you don't see it haha :)
player comparisons are dumb, completely unfair on the players to be honest
if they don't get to that level
Spencer White, the next Franklin
bzzzzzzt....please

Saying White would be the next franklin is silly , but he sure does play like him

Is there any chance keitel races up the draft boards and is seriously in play for us at 6?

From what I saw Fronk , Yes. Seems to have real feel for the game with good skills.
Not impressed with the key forwards on show. If I had to have a bet ,a few early picks will be busts with this group. If Wright slipped I could be tempted
I hope we go for best available despite needing tall forwards.

Reece Mckenzie kicked 10.4 yesterday 256 super coach points

Was that in the TAC cup?

Could he possibly bolt up the draft board with some good form, Bonts was still an option for our 2nd rounder this time last year!

YeAh was for the northern knights vs the eastern ranges

Was just about to post this, Carlton will be all over him though with their 2nd rounder and It'll most likely be a higher pick ;(.
Hopefully they finish higher than us , or if he is good enough just use our first pick :)

Geez, thats a good effort.

This is where downgrading our first to two lower first rounders could be good. Could potentially get someone like Duggan and McKenzie if he finishes the year well and pushes up the order.
yeah or kietel and Mckenzie or Laverde Ellis Pickett de Goey so many options

Just going to remind people that the Dogs are one of 6 clubs watching McKenzie (Just watching). Carlton wasn't one of the 6 (If I heard his conversation right, which I believe I did). However that's probably changed after this performance, no doubt Carlton will be keeping an eye on him now. He has to be able to back up that performance with some consistency (Not saying kicking 10 goals every week), as he hasn't been kicking many goals to date.

after yesterday 18 clubs will be watching

Pretty much non-news considering most clubs would have done so as well, but anyway: we have met with Jake Lever
