Didn't play. Think he might be injured.

if he does slip though, it'll be for a good reasonWonder where Wright will go..
KM ranks him #1 who is probably the most respected draft expert on BF and the media had him fighting for a 1-3 spot a few weeks ago, i can see him slipping to possibly #5 now. Doubt he will slip like Grundy though
1. St. Kilda - McCartin
2. Brisbae - Petracca
3. GWS - Durdin
4. Melbourne - Brayshaw/Wright (They have Hogan and Dawes)
5. Carlton - Wright/Brayshaw

makes it more interesting, who we'd take
if we keep on winning; I like this![]()
are you a mind reader?Yup outside the top 5 you could throw a blanket over them so lets keep winning and take Laverde with our pick 7-8!
lets never play Poker together

why settle for one, when we could have twoGet one of McKenzie/Fox/Payne as KPF later in the draft![]()

hm, getting one Jets player would be good
I like the tricks Laverde has, but enjoy watching Ellis to
Duggan is probably the most skilled of the lot, Ellis the hardest worker(on the field re: tackling, pressure), Laverde the most dangerous
the one thing they all share is class and versatility to play a few positions
If Ellis or Duggan fell into the second roundWhat if one drps to our second pick? As well as having Laverde first round we have Ellis/Duggan in the second, Cordy third and Fox or Payne in the 4th.

I'm starting to believe we don't necessarily need an outside mid and honestly would struggle to fit another one in the team. Would rather add another big bodied beast, as long as they have good skills and a bit of toe too though. Petrecca would be perfect![]()
Yeah agree with that. Think a couple of those guys along with the likes of Hrovat, Hunter, Macrae, Stevens etc who are all quite capable of providing run and good skills, is more than enough. If Higgins or JJ do want out then we might need another half backer.I am with the same thinking, we have Tutt, JJ, Darley that can all be moulded into playing an outside role at stoppages, and provide some run off the backline. We also have Wood and Higgins who still have some miles left in them. Duggan and Pickett might not be on our radar as handy as they may be, but it is not as glaring as people make it out to be.
I agree, they played in a GF 4 years ago FFS.If Melbourne haven't got a priority pick these last 3 or 4 years, there's no chance St Kilda are getting one this year.
what is this hunch?I can see us having multiple picks in the top 20. Just a hunch.

Just that we'll wrangle some more picks, whether via trading down, trading players out etc. I know nussing. Just guessing this might be our last real load up at draft time before we start bringing in some mature talent.what is this hunch?
an outside midfielder, doesn't mean they necessarily need to play in the midfield
they could become a general forward, general defender, rebounding defender
the only thing I ask of any of them is that they can win their own ball and
yes Petracca would have been perfect, oh well...I guess he can develop on another list before he comes to us![]()

That's what I desperately want with our key forward search. If the quality ain't there, be patient and work with what we have for another 12 months. Don't force a trade for the sake of it.as long as we don't do the Richmond method
quality, not just role-players/depth![]()

Spot on, we don't want to be left overpaying for a shit truck like Collingwood will be with Jesse White over coming years, bullet dodged last year
