Wright would be fantastic. How about Duggan? Seems to be in some fantastic form at the moment and might just be pushing up the draft boards again? Love that he laid 12 tackles. A guy with his disposal but also his want to tackle and what not, could make a very fine player whether thats down back, through the middle or up forward. Would be fantastic to add into our team.
Very keen on Langford if we can get him with our 2nd round pick or something, would be another fantastic addition to add to our crop of big versatile players who can play just about anywhere, and would definitely add some more contested marking throughout the ground which we definitely need.
Higgins leaves, trade a pick for Griffiths or Jaksch, take either Duggan/Laverde or Durdin/Lever at 6(talls would be nice and reckon Durdin could make a fine CHF, but if we think Duggan/Laverde are better players just take them because they add a lot too), Langford in the second round and Cordy/Foster sometime after. Would fit our recent recruiting properly and just really improve the team all over the field, and at least give us a few quite decent taller options at both ends.
Kyle Langford. Like the sound of this guy. He's now jumped to number one for me. He's 190cm can play anywhere the only knock on him is that he's 73kgs. Bonts was recruited around 83kgs. But another tall mid to compliment Bont and Stringer.
This from Bound for Glory.
"Langford has played as a key back to great success, as his lanky arms are excellent in spoiling or outmarking his opponent. His closing speed is fantastic. I believe his running ability is severely under rated, as his work on the lead includes an explosive burst, but it doesn’t seem to wear off over the game.
He’s also plied his trade as a tall wingman to great effect. Against the Pioneers, he gathered 20 disposals, 11 marks (three contested) and eight tackles. He was truly sensational, and he dominated in that Matthew Richardson of 2008 role. The wingman involved in everything."
