They have put up the bests and goals for the first game. Stats come monday afternoon usually.

I watched him live last week.
He can slot into our side probably about half way into next year once he's adjusted to the speed and training.
6"8 can take contested marks, great 1v1, has improved his defensive game and has a great kicking technique

Wow, 6'8" is pretty big. Bound for glory news had him at 6'4" when they did their write-ups in May. Sounds like an interesting prospect either way.

sorry for my ignorance, but if we had 2 father sons we want to pick up next year in cordy and foster, and say several other clubs nominate to pick up cordy and foster with 3rd round picks, what are the implications for us if only 3rd round picks are nominated? would that mean that we can only pick up 1 player with our 3rd rounder and hope the other one slips to the 4th round?

So in that scenario, it would be our third and fourth rounder. Which is actually pretty realistic.

that sounds fair. So if 2 clubs bid their 3rd rounders on cordy and foster, we can use our 3rd and 4th round pick without fear of any other club pinching our players.... Good News.... ( just hope we only have to give up say picks 4 and 5 instead of picks 3 and 4

It's a possibility we could even Father/Son Rookie pick Foster, which would be the ideal situation. That would allow us to choose him as a rookie at our last rookie pick (or whatever round of rookie picks another club nominated him at).

i suppose we had better hope no one is interested in him.. Sadly, we should have rookie drafted him last season when we had the chance. Oh well, hopefully he will be a gun !

Yeah, hopefully he kicks on either way. I agree, we could have ousted Greenwood last year and Rookied him then, but arguably he has probably had better development playing TAC cup then he would if he was playing VFL so maybe it was the right move. As it stands we will need to source 4 new rookie players this year, so I am hoping he can be at least one. It will be hard for us to find a few good ones in one pop, having him as one would help.

We can officially report that@DandyStingrays leading goal kicker Taylor Joyce has not been selected and instead Jake Lovett will play.

Huge loss for Dandy him and his beard could have done some real damage.
