I wouldn't be surprised if Hammelmann didn't make it to our 3rd round. I want him though, so I'd be happy taking him at the Higgins pick if we hold onto it.

they didn't nominate him, must be a reason why though (Hammelmann)

probably have two 3rd round picks after Jones
and then Cordy in the 4th

Finlayson is now on GWSs list automatically and Abe Davis was picked up

yeah, we'll probably have to upgrade to ensure we get a KPF, because I can only see McKenzie/Hammelmann been available..

i walked past falcons training in geelong this year and a footy bounced over the fence. i kicked it back over and it slewed off hte side of my foot, missing my target my 15 metres. mick turner was doing a presser at the time said that i was a 'close to a sure-thing that he's ever seen' and that i had the 'most upside' of any potential draftees. never mind the fact i'm 32

mick is a great developer of talent, but it's widely known that 'the best stopper / runner / kick / midfielder etc' graduates from his football factory each year...good on him for doing his best to get his lads drafted.

We're into Menadue, fronkalicious. We've interviewed him 3 times now, so I'd assume he's in the frame to be selected. Another we like is Brayden Maynard. He's been into the club a few times now.

As others have already pointed out, McCartin is now a priority but no further ahead than Wright, who we think will be a fantastic player and interviewed much better than Paddy. I think they're still undecided in who to target and there may be a few more interviews before a commitment is made.

I wouldn't know mate. Not real up to date on the quality of these blokes being up in Sydney. Just know we like both of them and we've had them in a few times. Dav1d and Wizard17 look to be our draft experts, I'd get them to suss it out and find a few highlights.

Inconsistent kick, can sometimes kick real bullets
other times he sprays them, versatile player though and not someone you'd want to be tackled by

Not sure I like Maynard that much for us. Not the greatest of kicks and doesn't really have the X-factor. Very good team player however.

Would like more player's who are better disposers of the ball and have more flair.

btw - I rate Cordy , looks more than ok to me.

Dave....you seem to have a good handle on the young guys. I have seen footage of Reece McKenzie, but I can't find it now. Do you know where I might find some, I have tried google and you tube. I like this guy, but I'm hearing different reports on him in particular his lack of agility.

He didn't think Howard would be there at our pick, was expecting him to be gone by pick 5.
