Not sure if it has been posted already, however this article from AFL.com states we have some interest in Oscar McDonald and Daniel McKenzie for our second rounders.

I would have McDonald at one of our first two picks if I didn't think he might be pinched before our pick
so I'd go slightly different right now and say

27/ Dean Gore
39/ Connor Menadue
45/ Dougal Howard
46/ Christian Buykx-Smith

I don't really expect Menadue to make it to 39, I just think McKenzie and Gore would compliment each other well
and there have been some rumors about them both, on here & from sports journalists
Also...I was more hopeful Menadue would still be available because I am not really keen on a lot of the other players which would be remaining

with 45 & 46, I went two KPPs to add some depth in that area
because I believe we'll back the likes of Roberts & Talia in, at least for now
and with another pre-season under their belt and any KPP taken in this draft, likely to take a good few years before
getting senior games, just think we'd take a bit of a punt on a couple later as KPPs are the most unlikely to succeed at AFL level

doesn't need to necessarily be those two KPPs, might be someone else we're interested in
I believe someone said we had a bit of interest in Hammelmann?

As for Blakely & VW; I think they'll go towards the end of the second round somewhere

Mutt's mail has us being very interested in Mcdonald since mid-season. I think we take him at 26/27 if he's there.

Jayden Foster has meet with Carlton twice now so they're obviously interested, no idea how interested though.

Would be pretty surprised if he's at our club next year.

I've mentioned before their head of recruiting is a Bulldogs supporter so it really is no surprise.

Yep if we were interested we would have nominated him, I mean Zaine is rated as a top 30 prospect and we got him with 64! Would have likely got no bids on him

Then we had another chance to nominate for rookie pick and we still didn't bite.

Someone else will give him a go.

With picks 26,27 I hope we get either Connor Menadue, Connor Blakey, Oscar McDonald, Ed-Vickers Willis or Daniel Mckenzie. Because we have soooo much talent in our forward line tho and midfield hopefully we pick up OM and EVW so that means we'd have 3 top 30, 190cm+ KPD as we got Zaine Cordy with father son. Atm are forward line will be hard to break into, the midfield will be defently hArd to get into And are backline is just a punch of witches hats, need to add some talent pronto! Would love to pick up foster in the rookie draft, or even a late pick!

Callum Twomey on his afl podcast mentioned Daniel Nielson, a tall defender we are interested in. Not sure if he's been mentioned yet?

Was top 10 in the repeat sprints and is a very good stopper.

After getting Boyd this year, the 2012 and 2013 draft allowed us to get 4 top 10 draftees that will strengthen our side in both the midfield and forward line. Hopefully in the 2014 draft we can pick up some strong defenders to compliment our side and help us not become back-to-back 17th place in teams scored against!

a pretty big kid already, you would have to wonder how much growth he had left in him

I mentioned him during the Champs, I think he is about 193cm or so
plays for the Eastern Rangers, so he would have played alongside Boyd & Honeychurch before
