I'm more excited about this draft given we have no idea who will be available at our picks, it's considered a deep/even draft, and we have a lot of picks. Should be fun.

I've seen nothing of EVW, but the guys I've spoken to see him as one of those guys you just want on your team. He's just a winner. Wins contests, takes on challenges, super smart and a super hard worker. He'd probably fit with the group well.

My gut feel is that D Mckenzie isn't available and we take menadue and EVW.

First time on in ages so catching up. It's also cool because we got the player considered the best of the last few drafts (Boyd) in addition to Bontempelli who is a star. We have been kissed on the **** big time over the last 3 years talent wise. This year is such a free throw at the stumps that only good things can happen. So pumped.

Pains me so much more knowing Duggan is a Dogs fan and we will miss out on him, one if my favourites. Now I will get to hear rumours of his chasing him for the next 10 years because he grew up a dog's fan ala Carlisle

There should be a rule that we get automatic access to all Bulldog's supporters prior to them being eligible to be drafted

We need an Academy.

Callum Twomey knows jack all, but if Menadue slips to us I'd be stoked. Top 15 talent IMO.

To be fair, Twomey got close last year. Think he nailed the first 13 or 14 selections from memory. Think he does one last change before the draft though.

What in particular are the character concerns around Tom Lamb?

Cause at 27 he could be worth the risk.

Too hard on himself, gets down on himself. Apparently he was expelled from school as well some time back or at least that was what I was told.

I can't see us taking him with our drafting system in place which places a pretty good amount on character side of things. Just look at the latest video of Dalyrmple's draft preview, he mentions character a lot.

It was interesting to see that Twoomey mentioned Clem Smith at one of our picks if he was available

Going to watch a load of Wigg now, perhaps we'll be third time lucky with a SA Half-back, known for having elite foot skills

Would be very annoyed if we picked up Wigg at 26/27, I wouldn't even pick him at 45/46.

I'd like a combination of the following, Vickers-Willis/Maynard at pick 26 with Menadue/D McKenzie at pick 27.

Bit of the Brett Deledio's about Menadue I reckon watching that vision, wonder what he'll be like with a hard tag though?

Need a big forward still, must take one if McKenzie is available at 26/27 or Keitel at 39, would be annoyed if we took another KPD instead.

Can't recall who said, but I've read it somewhere. Kudos to those who do phantom drafts a few months out and edit maybe once, but those who do repeated versions or PD's a few days out - your Twoomeys, Quayles and Cardonas (honestly 6???). Seriously defeats the purpose and reeks of insider info and indecision. Make your call and stick to it :-S

So as of the last 24 hours it seems as if McCartin has become the new #1 and if so, you couldn't see the saints picking up R.McKenzie at 21. Do we take him with 26/27 if available? I say yes!

I'm not sure. It has to depend on who else is there. Our biggest need I think is skill and speed. Had we not got Boyd then different matter. But if Menadue, EVW, Maynard, D. Mckenzie, Lamb, Boekhorst, Cockatoo are there also then I reckon we take any two of them ahead of Reece.

My thinking is that the Blues might snap him up at 19 anyway, or the Saints might if they don't go Petracca.

I am just banking on a few of our picks with first or last names that start with M. Menadue, Maynard, McKenzie, McDonald etc. thus figure highly.

Mate if we bring in someone at pick 26 who is so good he's sat on before Bont, Macrae, Libba etc that would be amazing.

He last phantom draft about two weeks ago had us using picks 45/46 on upgrading Jong and Redpath
was pretty lazy.

The fact that the majority of phantoms out there suggest we will get them both tells me that we wont and that we may be lucky to just get one !!
