Just personal opinion mind you, but I think it'll be easier to find a someone we like as a mid later in the draft (Webb, Wigg, Gore) that it would be to find a KPF - at a genuine KPF size and talent.
I also think having two KPF's is better than one. Although I'm not sure I've actually seen this in my lifetime - so it just may be rumour and conjecture - no factual basis to it.![]()
It's a really good point 2 is better than one, but at any cost, i'm not as sure.
I can counter with there could be a couple of KP players of worth at 39 to 46. So it's a matter of working out are the mids available at 26 and 27 as good as the ones at 39 to 46 and same with the Talls.
I think guys like Webb, Wigg, Lonie, Gore and a few others are pretty good, but I think Menadue is better, as is Lamb, EVW, D Mckenzie, Boekhorst and couple of others. I think McKenzie is the best FF available after McCartin and Wright. I'm not sure he can play any other position however. I think what we do need is a CHF/CHB. Others perhaps suit that better. Sure we can have insurance for Boyd, or Boyd could be a CHF one day or we can have depth to trade.
If we get Menadue then I will be ok with R.McKenzie, I think Menadue is exactly what we need although he will need time to develop his body for the rigors. I love the versatile utility, the big mids. Langford, Lamb and EWV all have that potential. Really hard to pass that up. I think we have needs forward and back for KP players, but we also have midfield needs for speed and skill. I actually think it is more important this draft. It will be interesting if R. Mckenzie slips do we pull the trigger....certainly hope we pick him ahead of McDonald.

Where have we we been hiding him?
, we could go Daniel happy
