Well we better hope Crippa becomes a gun then.

Macca also had a lot of say in Temay (coached him @ school).
Oh god we are in trouble if he is having a say in who we are drafting then! Hope the story above isn't true otherwise we've not only paid overs for a good prospect but we've been pretty unprofessional and lost a good recruiter. I'm all for the club involving legends after they are done but its a 21st century club and we need the best people doing the jobs they are employed to do it's not the 80s anymore

Or perhaps McKay has a good knack for spotting talent, Cripps looks the goods and tbh as it's stands there is no one taken after Cripps that I would rather have probably with e exception of Lewis Taylor but I still reckon Paddy will end up the better player.

I'd say in his job as General Manager of Football Operations his viewing of young players around the country would be a lot less than that of a senior recruiter. It wasn't a post saying Cripps wont be any good I'd just rather our recruiters do the recruiting and not have people over ruling them with personal opinions

Totally agree, but I just reckon we have got lucky on this one.

Caleb Daniel 16.1 in beep test.

So elite endurance. Could be enough to overcome being the shortest player @ the combine.

Of all the ones I've read the highest he was was at #47 with most having him in the 50-rookie range. It's all rumours at this stage that McKay went over the recruiters heads but one thing that is certain is Temay was a bad pick up
