agreedVery hard question Dewah. I take Petracca.
im sure we can get him for a LOW pickSeriously recruit Daniel, Bains.![]()
In all seriousness my basic thinking is this - GWS and Carlton are going to end up with say picks 5 and 6.
Dropping from 1 to 5 isn't that big in this years draft thus, it's not really worth it to other teams unless they are absolutely keen on someone.
All of ORourke, Jacksh and Watson are top draft picks which means they've got talent, but all are well behind on development for one reason or another.
I think if we are going to look for a 2-for-1 deal with another top 10 pick we are going to have to take a punt on the type of player we get back with it.
Remember Tyson + pick 9 cost Melbourne pick 2 AND 20 and they got Tyson coming off a knee reco as well as GWS having 2 top ten picks to play with, so unless we want to give up our first 2 picks we wont be getting near a Patton/Sheil type during trade week.
Maybe we could deal with the Dogs for their first and one of their spare mids like Clay Smith? Adelaide, West Coast, North etc will be harder to deal with imo.
PCL surgery that's all.Tyson didnt have a knee reco, im pretty sure.

If we got away with De Goey for our 4th pick, Pelch and co would have to be investigated for draft tampering!Pick 1: McCartin
Pick 2 (Priority): Brayshaw/Petracca
3rd pick: Paul Ahern
4th pick: De Goey
Late pick: Caleb Daniel

Gach or Rowan Marshall?also this Vcountry ruck is terrible
Keeping our first pick, getting a first round priority pick while getting out hands on both GC and GWS compos would be f**king amazing..
How that happens i don't know..

Yeah i wouldn't do that anyway.Melbourne overpaid
Only 1 way Stan...
Jack Steven & 21 -> Melbourne : Pick 4, 5 & 43 to St Kilda
Pick 4 & 43 to GCS - > Pick 10, Pick 19 to St Kilda
Pick 1, Pick 5, Pick 10, Pick 19, Pick 40
If I'm Melbourne I turn that down, but I'd definitely do that trade as a Saint. Jack Steven and 21 for 5, 10 and 19 a very good trade. I'd prefer to keep 43, but a great trade regardless.Melbourne overpaid

Pickett is exactly what we need, amongst other things.
So...From the small sample of todays game what do we think of Wright?
Garlett looks decent so far.
I keep hearing he's a real athlete but he looks more of a slow plodding ruckman to me. Moore on the other hand has plenty of agility for someone of similar height.
im no draft expert but i definetly think a tyson style trade down could be the best result as it seems that there is no clear cut no. 1 as there has been in previous years, who else likes devon smith??
Trading Jack is nuts, but not as nuts as getting 4 top 20's and 3 of them being top 10's.Yeah i wouldn't do that anyway.
Trading Steven would be nuts and Pelch said it's extremely unlikely he is going anywhere.
