If Armo is involved then I want GWS 2nd round pick back.

Walk out of the draft with

1st - Cameron
2nd - Weller
GWS 2nd - Blakely (to replace Armo)

Who cares from there!

For anyone with doubts - the only reason he has under performed this season is because the Giants played him injured. Should've had the ankle op months ago.

IF we get him he will kick 50+ again next year. Easily.

Imagine if Stanley carried his form into next year, and a fit Tom Lee could regain what he showed in 2013. Add that to a fit Jeremy Cameron, Roo giving his all for the last 2 years of his football life and Spencer "The Great" White "Hope" in development...

Teams are up for the TAC cup games this week. Still no McCartin (guess he wants to play school footy instead) and Petracca is mysteriously absent but there is no player named at FF for Eastern so he might ninja his way in there somehow.

Not want, they are required to play for their school over TAC cup... The only exception that would allow them to play for a team other than their school would be for an AFL team

Edit: when I was in year 12, there were 2 guys playing for Sandy Dragons & 1 for Dandy Stingrays from my school. The only time they could play for their TAC cup teams was during school holidays or when there was no school game clashing with the TAC cup fixture

Really? I did not know that. I'm guessing this is part of the "we give you cheap education and you play footy for us" deal?

^What Rors said, except Champs is also an exception from private school footy.

Petracca was named at FF in my paper this morning.

This and also school footy is a really big deal when you are at school. At my APS school a teammate played APS footy on a Friday and went behind the schools back and played for Calder on the Sunday. He got in a lot of trouble from the school as they thought he should prioritise school footy. It has changed a bit since I was at school (late 90's) in that schools are more open to the idea of the under 18 competitions and the need for the players to put themselves in the shop window so to speak but am sure there would still be similar pressures for gun players to turn out for their school and help them win a premiership. One must remember that it was pretty normal for players to get drafted directly from school until the mid nineties so it took awhile for the school coaches/parents etc to adapt.

Yeah he was listed at 196cm last year. It wouldn't matter so much with someone like Jeremy though because he is just so nimble, quick and athletic. He is a very, very different type to McCartin.

I imagine there would be plenty of water to go under the bridge just yet though. If we get his signature on a dotted line then it will be party-time in a big way. Right now nothing is set in stone, but it's a great start!

Just imagining how good our forward line might be if we had Cameron and if Spencer White really came on (along with Stanley and/or Lee, not to mention Billings!) is giving me a nice warm feeling though.

Would be totes cray cray!
