I ask because this far out from knowing the picking order, a compo pick is about the only certainty at this stage of the year.

I find this Cameron rumour hard to believe. At this point I'm taking it with a grain a salt.

I'm finding it hard to comprehend Cameron in a Saints jumper next year as well but I just don't think that Brian would make that call if he wasn't certain that Cameron has picked St Kilda.

I'm definitely not calling the guy a liar. Cameron may want to come to St Kilda. My concern is that he is still contracted, so if that is the case, we still have a long way to go to get him to the club. I highly doubt GWS and St Kilda have made a deal for him mid season.

But, if this is the case (JC wanting to be at Saints), it would be the first step of a process.

JC flags intentions, management inform GWS, GWS & Saints begin discussions on what might get a deal done.

No, he can't sign a contract yet, but may have verbally indicated his intentions.

Still, a fair way to go to be across the line IMO.

Not really destructive Sunshine Saint, because at the end of the day, I'm pretty sure all of us would still be 100% happy with Petracca, McCartin or Cameron being in the RW&B next year in exchange for whatever pick we end up with, be it pick 1,2,3 or 4... Am I wrong?

The thing with Bontempelli is he's probably at the perfect team for the player he is... Bulldogs lack a good tall forward, so when he plays forward, he's the height of a KPF & it works great for them. Then he can move up into the middle & his height & size contrasts their other mids in Wallis, Libba, McCrae who are all 10cm shorter than him. He just adds something different that works very well with the Dogs IMO

As for Billings & Aish, they just look so classy with ball in hand. They will be amazing in another year or 2

Jack Macrae 10cm shorter then Macrae? Last time I checked it was about 2-3cm.

I started on Bontempelli then switched to Billings on saintsational. My worry on Cods was that he might be another Andreas Everitt, kind of and awkward utility sized player that is too short for KPP and too tall for midfield roles long term. He's looking excellent so far but as he fills out and loses a touch of pace and agility it could be a negative. Still looks a gun. I really liked Kade Kolodnashnij too after seeing his highlight reel. He looks a really exciting prospect. Possibly the best draft ever for stars that one. We have got three potential guns and nearly everyone in the top 10 or 12 who hasn't been injured has shown really high level potential. I thought Collingwood had probably done extremely well with Freeman and Sharon burgers but neither has been able to get themselves right for a game.

You don't lose pace when you build up, nor agility. Bonts will be fine. It's like Dustin Martin at Richmond, I think they're scared he'll lose his pace and agility if he bulks up too much, I just think that's bullshit, won't happen (imo).
