the play him FF in half the games and then the other half he was FB.
i havent seen any champs footy so you would know better than me.

I know when he was a bottom ager last year he played half back for the school so i guess thats his true position. Probs played him FF and FB just because he was that much better than most other people.

it was like 2012 O'Hanlon (tigers player now) played FF for st.bedes, so not the best indicator.

who do you see as his player comparison or have you not looked at him closely yet?
He is now playing at Caulfield Grammar and playong of half back. Already been said but yea good athlete and hard worker smart player as well. I think an underrated skill of his is his ability to get back and help out his team mates to create two on ones. He will often create good spoils in that situation. I think he could play a similar roll to Newnsy and I think he is a kind of mix of dempster and new set with better athletism. He also has the potential to play in the middle just needs some opportunity.

Don't forget the televised games this week on Foxfooty

Friday 12:35pm - Vic Metro vs Western Australia
Friday 2:35pm - Vic Country vs South Australia

He's awesome, looks like he has combined a bit of ballet dancer with the Josh Kennedy Fred Flintstone waddle goal kick run up. Why isn't he at an AFL club? Looks a very likely type.
Apparently he is, or at least was in his draft year, incredibly injury prone, so clubs didn't want to take a risk. Surprised he wasn't rookied though; could be a steal for nothing, and if he doesn't work out, well, how many rookies do?

Rahul I notice that Tyler Keitel is moving up the ranks in a few Phantom ratings. What's you opinion of him? He sounds like he could be a great option at #21 or even in the mid teens if we can trade up. Would be good to have another 'Harvey' in RWB too!

How would you guys see Wright and Keitel working as dual forwards over the long term? Would Keitel play the role of the FF and then Wright would be the roaming CHF who can also pinch hit in the ruck. Would be pretty nice to take care of our dual KF's in the one draft, and would free us up to take the best mids in the subsequent drafts.

Wright, Keitel and Urban sounds pretty nice to me! Hopefully land Jaksch through a trade/PSD and upgrade Shenton. Rookie list Saad and take a project key forward like conlan with our other rookie spot.

Ins: Wright, Keitel, Urban, Jaksch, Shenton, Saad (r) & conlan (r)
Outs: Fisher, Dunell, TDL, Jone/Hayes, Maister/Gilbert, Shenton (r) & Minchington (r)

Hayes has his own and Jones' future in his hands, if he stays on Jones has to make way. But if Hayes retires, I think we could use the bigger and experienced body for one more year.

I would like to trade gilbert with our abundance of rebounding defenders, but if no suitors then Maister will have to make way.

Based only on a few write ups that I've seen, I would assume that Keitel is the mobile, athletic KF who would play similar (but 9cm shorter) than Wright but would compliment McCartin very nicely.

If we can find a way to get another top 15 pick, keep our 2nd rounder & then hope that Jake Lever & Keitel are available then we've gone a long way to sure up some key position slots.

On another note, the wind is off it's rocker today. Glad I'm not flying anywhere today!

Mate I was driving on Kings Way before and I was on two wheels! Mini hurricane out there.

Keitel is one I see as more of a swingman. He can play in defence and up forward, but I think Wright is a much better forward. After our 1st pick (if we do not trade down), I'd take midfielders, just on the assumption that we've taken a Wright or McCartin with our top 3 selection. There are a only 1 or 2 talls around after pick 20 that I'd be interested in the having at the Saints, and it's easy to see Keitel going before our 2nd.

Did any of the young lads play last weekend? Reports?

U18 Champs Div 1 week off and Country Round in TAC, didn't get to watch any of those guys, but watch out for some this weekend.

Cheers Rahul.
After last years draft I'm so eager to see what we do this year.

Knifes I hate to say this, but Conlon is cooked, at least IMO. Big men with that sort of injury issues are just the type you stay away from.

Unless his name is Joel Embiid.
I don't care, doesn't make me not interested in seeing how he returns.
