Supposing a complex 3 way trade goes through between LoLingwood, Lions and GWS involving Beams, Pick 5, Patfull,Merret and Treloar.
Pies get Treloar and Merrett, Brisbane get Beams. GWS get Pick 5 & Patfull. GWS then offer us picks 4 & 5 plus Jaksch
for pick 1. Would we do this ?

No.
In the unlikely event that Treloar becomes available, I do not want be involved in a deal that sees him end up at collingwood.
Surely we'd take him ourselves if available.
Collingwood & Essendon raising a players name does not equal reality.

Brisbane get their man. Both Merrett and Patfull are looking at options. Saves them being bent over by Collingwood and
losing Redden or an Aish. If a third round pick from either GWS or Collingwood heads back to Brisbane would they have really lost on this deal considering Beams is contracted and Pies are playing hardball it seems ?

yeah its bad timing and everything but it brings in the money. You dont stop doing something that makes you a profit unless you can make a larger one somewhere else.
