Mitch Robinson.
I think the gif we used on our board, when Mitch Robinson was linked to our club, is similarly appropriate for any club with self-respect...

BigFooty is blocked where I work too. Apparently someone spent too much time on it.

Ill be lucky to have my job by the end of trade week, I seriously have done nothing over the last two days. This can't go on for another week, but at the same time I can't help it.

2 years ago Membrey went at pick 46 in the 2012 draft. We traded that pick for TDL.
Membrey might be useful, but we are collecting quite a few third talls now.
They can't all be 3rd.
Siposs , Lee, White, Markworth and Membrey all third?
Some of them will need to step up to first and second. Preferably someone taller than 190cm, oh that only leaves Lee and White.
Think the club sees Siposs as a delisted player next year unless pulls finger out.
Markworth more likely to be a tall mid/fwd rather than 3rd tall.
Really just White, Lee and Membrey with hope that one can play the high lead up fwd (Roo style) rather than a stay at home 3rd tall.

I know that our forwardline isn't star studded (excluding Rooey), but I'd love to hear some thoughts over how it could now work if we did nab Jaksch and Membrey. The 'young' tall fwd/backs off the top of my head would be Bruce, Del, Spence, Rhys, Lee, Membrey and Jaksch. Apart from the resting ruck, have I missed anyone?

I feel like I might be a little premature with my predictions, but I fear it might be missing some class. Actually, that list really needs a monster like Mc, Mc, nah, I can't bring myself to say it!

why do people still propose jaksch in a deal for pick1? the kid is out of contract and if we can't strike a deal for a later pick for him and carlton cannot ether - then PSD pick 1 KJ!

If we are trading pick 1 then i want 2 top 10 picks. Which will not happen...

Other Scenarios i would consider; pick 4 + 2 picks in the 10-20 range

Pick 4 + Shiel/Hoskin-Elliot etc

Nothing less, as far as i am concerned petracca is the stand out. I understand that doesn't always translate but he has cleaned up tac footy and all its accolades for 24 months.

I saw Adam Kingsley a few weeks back now and he mentioned that in HIS OPINION - Petracca if he was eligible last year and had showed this years form then, he would of gone top 3. Thats good enough for me.

Feel your pain. Am teacher too. No BigFooty, Trade feed off AFL site and a poor Trade Radio feed leaves me in the dark until i get in the car.

Pick 1 for Jaksch, 4, and 19 (Hawks O'Rourke Pick)???

No thanks. The club have indicated that we want any deal for Jaksch to be separate from pick 1. Even if we were happy to do that I wouldn't want it. Jaksch isn't worth enough to make it happen.

If Gunston who's basically a skeleton can play key position I'm more than confident someone like Lee can. Talent is more important than height or weight (relative to key forwards of course). How much of that they have we don't know yet but I think they're capable.

any ideas on what carlton have offered giants for kj?

It´s got to be someone better than Jaksch and 4 for 1. We need a quality midfielder in the deal aswell as Jaksch.
Pretty sure the Dees will take McCartin with 2 or 3 and he won´t last to 4. This leaves Wright, Lever, Durdin as possibilities.
We so need mids it´s not funny. Wouldn´t be against taking a Gorilla in Wright in this scenario but we have to get a quality mid in this deal
or we take Petracca and try our luck with later picks in landing a KP. I honestly think the likes of Riewoldt, Stanley, White , Lee/Markworth/Membrey and Billings and Petracca pushing forward is potentially very dangerous.
