regardless of Weller and grooming him from a young age through the academny. What is everyone's opinion of what the actual missing type of player is?

Last year McKenna stated we need ball users running off half back. We picked up Kolodjasnij who has come on much better than anticipated lets be honest. Big tick there.

So what do we need?

Me personally, I don't think there is too much we can draft that we haven't already got someone developing. I think I've said a few times I think we should use the currency to fill some list deficiencies. Being age spread, experience, leadership. Would not mind us trading both 1st rounders we currently have.

Medium sized quick agile strong marking half forward.. We seem to get most of our goals from quick kicks to lynch, Dixon and Day on the lead...
I'd like a nice sized guy whose quick good down low and in congestion.. Defends well and Kicks goals!
A mix of bartel/ fyfe and Stevie j please

You don't bring Martin into a club still building its identity and off field brand. The club has learned this with Brown I think. Just a mistake waiting to happen.

Back on topic, I would go for someone like Durdin or Lever with our pick 7.

I really like those 2 as well, Brayshaw is another that may be available at 7 who we could consider as a goalkicking small forward come midfielder.. However, if we were to go weller at pick 7 then Goddard is one that may be good for it at 15 for the ultimate swingman

Wouldn't mind a mid to train up to Heppel/Prestia standards to fill Risch's void when he retires. Think proactively, not reactively. Weller seems to fit that bill. Plus, with him being a QLDer, it's great for the club for many reasons.

Pick 7 Durin or Lamb both big and Lamb can run in the midfield at 193 cm

Pick 15ish Goddard or Weller (if still available)

Garlett and Robinson are apparently on the table if any club can come up with a good deal.

Maybe the GCS might be able to offer up "picks" and players.

They're on the table for a reason and not because Carlton are a gun team and they can't get a game. Both have zero discipline just like Dustin Martin & our young list need leadership. Not for me.

Load up on quality mids and run teams off their legs at Metricon. Aish went at 7 last year and I'd take someone like that in a heart beat if available.

I reckon Trengrove would be a great acquisition for the GCS. I reckon that a player may also have to be offered for the deal to get up.

I am thinking that a player such as Gorringe, Schade or Lonergan might be options.

Do you think he will actually get a go anywhere else. There is no secret as to what is keeping him get a game, and it is not his desire or ability. If he has not managed to put on a KG since 2012 I doubt anyone else would try
