When Gold Coast asked to which club he'd like to be drafted, he said the Suns. He knows Jack Martin well, and is related to Brandon Matera and Harley Bennell. He's also thought how cool it would be to play alongside Gary Ablett.

I'm getting keen for Conner Blakely, just watching the draft highlight videos on the afl website and the guy really stands out. Big bodied midfielder and he's from WA to! Hopefully available at pick 15.

I'd go Ahern or Durdin if Pickett is gone. Ahern just makes it look so easy. Still not convinced our tall stocks are adequate yet and Durdin looks a likely KPP type.

There are just so many options available, it is hard to say who we will take if picketts gone. But I dont think it will be someone completely random, like Leslie from last year.

FWIW I have heard from a few places now that GWS are very keen on Goddard and have done an absolute mountain of work into him for their picks 6 or 7. It may be a reach true, but considering who they lost (Boyd, Giles, Jaskch) and depth across the ground, they can comfortably reach for another tall here. They can select on a needs basis, rather than best talent available.

The Giants have a habit of drafting players who have obviously said that they won't want to be there, then end up losing the players 2 years later (or less) to another club. I'm hoping that if they know Pickett doesn't want to go there that they'll invest their time and picks into young talent who are likely to stay, or who don't have a preference.

Will need all of these and more in the ressies (NEAFL)....We didn't win a game , yep 0 wins, 18 losses with a average loosing margin of some 12 goals.
That's a disgrace for our club.
Who is coaching the ressies this coming season????...Surely Josh Fraser didn't hold his position did he?
