Kicking 31 from 17 games at Bendigo is a pretty impressive effort in a team where the ball is lucky to get down that end 10 times a game.

If he is as good as he looks in that video then it wouldn't matter if he was 3ft tall... has an amazing kick on him long and very accurate. at only 20 he is a real prospect! ... the level of training has to go way up now with the amount of competition for spots that there will be. Can only be good for the club as a whole.

You've got a star in Brooksby. Main catalyst in SAFC's surge up the SANFL ladder this season.
Not very tall but didn't get beaten plus can kick goals when needed.

I was on Bendigo Gold's VFL list this year and played with Tyrone Downie. I'm from interstate but he was kind enough to offer me to stay at his place for a fortnight while I adjusted to life in Bendigo. Undersized forward with unbelievably good hands. Great leader on and off the field.

I reckon the Suns have done exceptionally well here in this rookie draft picking up four mature aged players in Josh Gleen, Adam Saad, Tyrone Downie, Keegan Brooksby and also Andrew Raines.

This will give the Suns some real depth on their list heading into 2015. Don't be suprised if players like Glenn and Saad get a lot games in the senior side next year.

He's wearing a 2XU guernsey. Weird.

EDIT: Probably not all that weird. The BLK jumpers are only just arriving this week, so I doubt there'd be any for him to wear.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the Gold Coast has been rated as the number 1 club during the trade and draft period by AFL.com.au.

Brisbane has been rated number 2, meaning that the two Queensland clubs have nailed the draft/trade period this year. Exciting times ahead!
