Watching some combine videos. Geez Petracca is a solid unit. Got some monster trunks on him.

I am always wary of a solid kid as he is always going to dominate developing kids during the early years, down the road when the others have developed however that is rarely the case

I used to think that. Recent precedence proved me wrong. I find this is only really applicable if they are not pacey. Petracca has explosive pace.

Perfect example to counter what you are saying is Ollie Wines who weighed in at 188cm 90kg when drafted and slipped to pick 8. We all know how he panned out. I would have no problems taking Petracca with the first pick if I had it. Will be a jet.

Nakia Cockatoo has come from nowhere. Won the kicking, repeat sprints, top 5 in the vertical jumps this week. Only played one game in 18 months (before the granny) and best on ground. Pick 14 please.

Nakia Cockatoo has come from nowhere. Won the kicking, repeat sprints, top 5 in the vertical jumps this week. Only played one game in 18 months (before the granny) and best on ground. Pick 14 please.

Cockatoo would be a stretch at 14. More a mid draft projection around the second to third round. Never know though.

Cockatoo a good Clayton type pick too. Someone that is gifted athletically. We like NT boys as well. Similar to the Tassie guys.

What happened to Weller? I thought he'd make top 10 in something.

Yep definitely a Clayton type pick. Maybe our third pick?

Has been a long time since I saw Weller projected as top 10. Never really saw him as worth a top 10 either. I would have him in the 8/10-20 range.

Higgins going to North melbourne means the Dogs get a 2nd round compo pick after there 2nd round pick.. So we drop from 27 to 28
And once frawley signs with hawthorn Melbourne will get pick 3 and All our picks will drop a further 1 down the order

Battle hardened mids so O'Meara Prestia and swallow don't need to run themselfs into the ground in the first 10 games..
And I'm thinkn a half forward type Laverde springs to mind..
Our full forward line is set for 10 yrs
Got gun fullback and centre half back..
Like you said got attacking defenders last year.. So

Dangerous quick half forward comes to mind, agree. Club has pinned it's hopes on Aaron Hall to date and not sure where he's at. Bit of a tease. Martin short term, but he's destined for midfield.

Keen on Cockatoo - good size at 188cm / 84kg already with that type of acceleration.

Will be happy with any 3 of Laverde, De Goey, Pickett, Smith, Lever, Bampton, Ahern, Durdin, Cockatoo with our first three picks if we still have them.

Lamb did his chances no harm at the combine. Seems like he can really run. Good mould for a forward flanker.

But you never know.. Last year Lewis Taylor was top 10 all year and went 26?

Im happy for them to be given fair compensation. pick 10-15...pick 3 is ridiculous. If it was a trade situation not a single team would give up pick 3 for Frawley so why would they get that from the AFL!
