Despite not remembering his time in WA, he often returns to Perth to visit family and said it was his home away from home.
"I definitely see myself as a West Australian at heart," Brayshaw said.
Angus' WA roots are linked to his choice of football team because he followed his mum's lead and barracks for Fremantle.
A 187cm midfielder, he loves watching David Mundy, Nat Fyfe, and Ryan Crowley play.

Hang on, from memory, didn't you like Hinkley? Not that it means much, but I wouldn't have taken Hiscox before the rookie draft. He's Clayton Hinkley, with endurance instead of speed.
I'm pretty sure that there's been a thread on this in the recent past, but given today's activity where do we stand with Father/Son selections? From memory the WAFL player father/son deal is finishing after 20 years, and given that all of the fathers from this morrning's selections played in the 1980's it seems to me as if Father/Son drafting for us will be a non-event for the next decade. Am I being overly pessimistic here?
Also, is it possible for us to create an academy like what exists in NSW? That the COLAs have picked up one of the best young mids pretty cheaply is interesting and if we're allowed to replicate that scenario we should be putting resources into it.
i reckon another 5-7 years before our foundation players' kids come into play ... maybe
Should know maybe today if our pick will be affected by the Frawley FA? thoughts?
And they had to have played 100 games... Not a lot of those early players got that far with us.
Very true... here's a list of all players from the 1990's with 100 + gamesAnd they had to have played 100 games... Not a lot of those early players got that far with us.

He lost all credibility for mine when he kept crapping on about Hinkley deserving a call up to Freo and then latter admitted that he was just looking at his stats and hadn't actually seen a single game played for Swans. It was laughable as someone that had the misfortune witnessing him torch the football for the Black Ducks all season.Hang on, from memory, didn't you like Hinkley?
Apologies if I'm mistaken.
That's a bit harsh. He's probably one of the two most insightful posters when it comes to the draft on the whole forum, let alone the Freo board. We all have players we rate that others don't, most of us go on about stats in the WAFL when talking about performances because very few of us can get down to the games, Chris isn't the only one.
