Not wrong. This thread got wierd, quickly
I can't remember all the rules: is it possible we could be forced to use pick 2 or 3 on stretch with the father/son pick if somebody else picks him in the first round? Would be pass on our F/S if that happened? Can be bail on the F/S? Or is it pre-nominated?

Thanks, ya sarcastic SOB.Holy dude lol
Father son nominations happened before trade week
We have to pick him with our first pick AFTER the nominated pick, no one nominated him before pick 23 so we were free to nominate him with pick 40
Thanks, ya sarcastic SOB.
I don't really keep up with everything that happens in the footy. I pop in and out when it suits me, so I do ask the occasional question that makes me look like a total noob.
Rumours are that we're going to draft Tom Scully and Jack Trengove with those two picks. Hopefully they go better on debut than Jack Watts did last year. All good man, Hard to tell who's on here all the time
But yah all clear to take 2,3 to the draft lol

McCartin is a more dominant forward despite being 10cm shorter. That says something.
**consistently dominant. I just feel like he doesn't use his size to impact games, whereas Wright relies on it almost entirely.More consistent probably, Wright's best games have been better - 29 touches, 14 marks (6 contested) and 4 goals is fairly dominant.

Haha yeah I'm really not keen on Wright, but I'm pretty sure that will turn out with McCartin flopping at the Dees and Wright going on to star at GWS.Sure, but I'd say that's the biggest worry about Wright - that he doesn't consistently use his natural strength and height to his advantage.
McCartin's a much more natural forward, Wright has more upside but definitely isn't as 'far off' as some other high upside top picks.
Honestly not sure who I'd prefer.

Brayshaw and McCartin.Just take the pure and best footballer.
We've made this mistake before..
Add James Sellar to that list.Callum Bartlett and Tom Swift were both meant to be #1 picks at 17.
I will be ropable if we take a player who has no form to go off in 2014 at pick three.
