GWS have to take him. Giles out means Mumford is the only choice is ruck and Patton out for half the year and Boyd gone for good and Ruck/Fwd is almost a must for them.

Yes have Phillips, Lobb & Downie, also expect Stewart to play the 2nd ruck role at times.

Just been watching the highlights of 2 metre Peter here all playing forward I'm more impressed with him more so than McCartin, If starting to lean towards him I hope we take at 2 or 3 now. Moore is a poor contested marker and fades in and out of games. What Moore really offers is a forward come second ruckman circa David Hale.

McCartin is powerful 1v1, great hands, very. good below his knees and has good pace/separation. He's a bigger version of Jack Darling.

Surely pick 40 is better than half a dozen or more of our current players! I'd be stunned if we don't go to the draft with pick 40. Didn't we get JKH with a similar pick last year? Delist or rookie Evans/McKenzie, pay them out, whatever it takes.

In his press conference at our first training session, Paul Roos slipped up and mentioned that we had picks 2, 3 and 40 to use in the draft.

I suspect that means we have every intention of using it, and there's going to be 1 more change to our list.

Yeh slipped up is a bit strong perhaps.

I think he called them 'live picks' though,which I took to mean in addition to Stretch and Jetta.

He's a reasonable depth forward with limited versatility for the back line and ruck.

I rate him ahead of Fitz at this point.

Yeah I hate (on face value) our side with Pedo in it, but he has proven capable. Put it this way. At this point he's is the best value recruit Neeld brought in, and has to date provided value in the first 2 years of his 3 year deal.

Pedo is no worse than Leigh Brown.
